I'm quitting the game after close to 1000hr and it's all due to unbelievably horrible matchmaking. You need to reset mmr and everyone starts at 0 and go up. The amount of players that clearly have no idea how to play the game yet are in high-ish mmr is just outright ridiculous. The game is unplayable because you get "casual play for fun" people with 0 amount of hours that got a random decent mmr getting randomly carried managing to hover all while more or less throwing games. I'm tired of playing games with MAYBE 1 other player being able to perform at all with 0 communication all while getting told to shut the fuck up (most common response) when trying to ask a mute team to defend or push an objective instead of afk farming jungle.
I will keep up to date with patches to see if anything is done about matchmaking but unless something "radical" as suggested above is done I'm for sure not playing again. The game is good, polished for being so early and a lot of fun playing. The matchmaking is just so bad that it takes everything else away.

This is my fourth game as Shiv and I don't understand how Amber Hand was supposed to be higher rank than Sapphire Flame.
Neither the Yamato nor the Bebop had any business in this lobby, and while I rallied, I can only think that after dozens of matches like this, that there are a huge amount of players having zero fun or able to learn the game with how hard I'm seeing these players get stomped into the ground.
I've also only been playing for a little over a week, but what are my odds of actually progressing rank and possibly getting better lobbies when my Win/Loss record is always going to be negative from getting matches like these?

First two games ever as a Yamato, I literally have no idea how she plays and got matched against a 4-5 stack of people of people who knew their characters intimately and were extremely coordinated to match.

Both matches ended in under 20 minutes - I got stomped on the instant I showed my face.
The second game was 5 kills against their 35 kills.
Most of our duo games have been utter stomps as they keep throwing us against 4-6 stacks so I think our friend group is gonna stop playing for a while.

Haze either throwing or not having the slightest clue how to play the game, and the opposing Abrams/Warden duo playing in this really disrespectful, smurf-y way. Most other lanes got stomped as well but the Abrams was particularly out of this elo. They even prolonged ending the game to farm kills.

The last two matches were even worse. I don't even know why I bother playing this game. It's like the gaming equivalent of gambling. I know matchmaking is still in progress, but making it ranked when it was already in such a bad state as is was genuinely the stupidest thing I've seen. Please revert the casual/ranked fusion. As for the matches, the first one was fairly fine until out of nowhere they rolled us into the ground, and the last one was so bad we barely got to do literally anything. Their mirage and Abrams were carrying p much. I wasn't even able to do anything to Mirage or his troopers in the laning phase cause all he had to p much do was sit on the bridge and fire shots like he has a Deagle in the form of a Lego blaster. These are my last 4 matches, but honestly my stack and I have lost 11 out of our last 12 matches. Always feels like regardless of our performance, there is always at least one person on our team who is significantly worse than the other team. Feels like I'm waiting forever for my ELO to drop enough to where I can start winning again.

I dont understand how this can be a good decision for the game to squeeze down queue times so hard that I get people like this when playing in Emissary
Okay, before today I had kind of okay-ish experience, but now, good lord. I haven't had a single good match, and the last one was plain impossible. 29554723. Come on, what is going on. 11 minutes and it's over. 25k vs 80k. Mo with 5 death on minute 4. Lash the same. This is completely ruined and players like this should get permanently banned from the game. This is not fun, they are greefing on purpose. How is this "balanced" on "Alchemist 3"? Who is alchemist on amber hand? The rating system is completely and utterly borked and needs to be reset to zero.
