Cool post, thanks for feedback, I am not at the level where I can confirm or deny how correct it is, but at least it is constructive.my brother in christ.. its arcanist... and you seem not know how to build for full carry yourself... You could carry it easily. it's on you tbh.
you build titanic mag, cdr, expansion, stamina mastery, leech, cheat death on haze... vs nearly full spirit nuke team.. where is frenzy, where is spell breaker, where is spirit resil? at least got silencer- good. cheat death- meh. expansion does nothing pretty much, better get warpstone if u wanna not let people jump out of your ult and or capacitor. if you want spirit for longer ults and more bullets- better get surge of power on knife, and stuff like curse, focus lense, slowing hex, boundless. but usually you will have 1, 2, or 3 maxmum spirit items.. want more lifesteal?- better get vamp burst, leech is cool and all, but ultra late if you have slots for it, but better get more fire-rate. toxic can be nice- but no1 of them builds hp and has bare minimum of green investment.. get penetration (crippling headshot or bullet resist shreder if u can land knifes well) or more fire-rate.
you could just become unkillable for them and hunt them down 1 by 1 or ult entire teams solo winning the game. Can ask team to be the bait for lash ult, or just let them get ulted by lash, clean up yourself right after... but....
and your ritualist game- glass cannon is not great on haze.. like at all.. and SB bth.. but when you get this many kills- maybe worth if you giga carry. Glass cannon makes your 20 damage bullets do 30.. wow. cool 6.4k nice. and yet again cheat death...
What I also see in many cases here are some stats and that's it. In most cases stats show that someone from team / enemy team stands out a lot and many players are on the other end of the extreme = doing basically nothing but dying a lot.
I think matchmaking can be summarized to following: in ideal case good matchmaking would find 12 players that are equally skilled so they battle it out and there are not games where someone can gain extreme advantage or game is won/lost under 20 min.
At least for me even in case of a loss but one where I / my team had a fighting chance I don't feel bad, its competition, always someone wins, someone loses. But those extreme cases are hard to swallow and feel totally unfair / EBMM like.
Finally what I see here a lot is what @Ravaanos.Sarivur mentioned - there is potential in this game to solo-carry and actually ensure the win via adjusting to your bad teammates. Only you need to know a lot, follow the game even more, adjust on the fly.
Vs just do what you usually do, apply auto-buy one some random public build you liked recently and repeat that game after game. Which let's be fair many people do especially on lower levels.
On the one hand you might say that lower level than X should not be asked to do above mentioned, on the other hand from matchmaking side there should probably not be people who can and can not do already next level tactics in the same game?
