TLDR; Game freezes constantly, not due to ping or frame drops.
Hello everyone!
I have been having a lot of issues with deadlock the past day and will do my best to explain, but if you have any questions please just ask and I'll do my best to answer.
So for reference, 2 days ago my game was perfectly fine. Yesterday I was playing a few games with my gf and then we stopped playing for a few hours and left the game open but eventually came back to continue playing. After I loaded into a match once coming back, almost immediately I noticed that the game was completely unplayable because every 10-30 seconds the game will completely freeze for up to 45 seconds straight which eventually leads to the game becoming permanently frozen. When this happens, I can still hear most things going on around me, but once I "unfreeze" all the sound effects etc. that happened while I was frozen happen at once and I suddenly appear in a new spot.
I tested this in a private bot game and the issue still occured. It is 100% not due to internet because I have less than 40 ping the entire time, and it isn't frames dropping either as I never drop below 60 fps in the absolute worst cases (but typically dont drop below 90-120 and run a consistent 200+). I don't have a vpn on. I just reinstalled the game a little more than a week ago to an nvme ssd so that shouldn't be an issue. I've verified the files as well and that doesn't help. The only solution I found was a one time fix that hasn't worked since, and that's restarting my PC.
