The mechanics of the game are so done that shooting skills don't matter. The winner is the one who has an advantage in farming at a given time. That's why every match follows the same scenario: one of the teams gets a 2k souls advantage, makes a frag, increasing the gap to 3k souls, and by 10 minutes this team is snowballing with no way to catch up with them in souls, since there are no tools for comeback in the game. It's amazing that most players don't realize that the core mechanics of the game are broken. No matter how the developers customize the matchmaker, a team of 6 players will always have either the strongest or the weakest player who will create an advantage in farming, which will be the reason why one of the teams will win.

game is not playable like this, losing lane is one thing but having someone out of controll feed and just run down is not acceptable. Make grief bans count more. 60k souls gap in 20 minutes is absolutly wild

Ever since ranked queue was removed the matchmaking has gone from terrible to egregious.
30437799 - Zero macro, zero map control. Basically sitting hostage in base all game.
30439463 - Phantom II game when I'm Oracle 1? Team was completely decimated in only 17 minutes. Why is this still happening? Gigantic skill disparity.
30578217 - Another stomp. It was so bad the winning team even gave the other team a chance to come back.

30582857 - Another stomp
30604302 - Another terrible stomp. The Haze was brand new with zero macro ability and disconnected when the enemy reached our base.
**Changing the queues has made the overall matchmaking quality significantly worse**. It's also taking *longer* to find games.
The worst part is my rank is dropping because of these games and so are the teammate skill levels. Those high quality, fair games I was enjoying in ranked queue are now gone.
We're feeling too many effects in this shrinking player base. General matchmaking was bad enough when Deadlock had 3 times as many players. I can see why everyone is going to Marvel Rivals even though it's not nearly as mechanically interesting.

Would you please, for the love of god, finally fix the matchmaking. Every game is the same. EVERY GAME we have an uphill battle against much stronger enemies. Its not sometimes, EVERY GAME. We lose every lane, they are in our base when we dont even have their walkers. You can probably tell that this is not fun. Sometimes we can steal the win when they are too cocky, but we legit have NEVER EVER a chance. It is getting so boring, or do I dare to say frustrating? Why would anyone continue playing when the matchmaking is giving you a disadvantage in literally every game you play. I really love the game, but the game will probably bomb when you cant provide a fair matchmaking. And I would hate to see that.

These are with Extra Competitive on. I tried some matches at first with it off but was put in miserable games so I kept it on. Roughly 300 matches total, I have been at Ritualist * for awhile. I am not great but am not bad, I tend to play support which I like. But I certainly know what it takes to win, strategies, do and don'ts but still seem to be paired with and against people who seem clueless.
1. 30611690- The oh so balanced Haze mega farms with lucky shot and ricochet totally ruining the match balance
2. 30613055- My team was disjointed, were hardly together and going off on their own, other team stuck together like glue and ganked the hell out of my team
3. 30561610- Self evident skill gap
4. 30521462- My team had no carry players, just fed the other team, other team had heavy carries.
5. 30510595- My team stomped the others with little effort, I usually don't perform this well, it felt like I was playing against fairly new players.
6. 30511903- Big skill and soul gap, other team could've ended it sooner but spent a lot of time farming up.
7. 30509491- Other team preyed upon again by the oh so balanced Haze, didn't help they were pretty bad skill wise too
8. 30508404- Everyone on my team had a negative k/d, no one on the other team had a negative k/d
9. 30452581- Everyone on the other team had a negative k/d, only one on my team. Other team was not coordinated
10. 30451077- My team was on the defensive the whole time, which allowed for their OH SO BALANCED HAZE to mega farm with ricochet and lucky shot to end the game with a stomp.
11. 30188475- Heavy carries on my team made for an easy win.
12. 30186733- Warden on the other team was paired with a useless team
13. 30185436- Lash on my team dominated
14. 30042994- Massive soul and skill gap again
15. 30041173- My team fed the others smooth brain
16. 30247906- Match lasted 17 minutes due to ALL the carries on my team

I was going to post some match IDs of ones I thought were balanced at the time, but looked back and couldn't consider them as such. Balanced matches overall are hard to find and became much more difficult after the 12/06 patch. Someone on my server uninstalled the game due to this patch. He was Ascendent 5 but got knocked down to Ascendent 2 because he was put on so many losing teams. This is a screenshot from him. This is gonna be my last week playing the game, then I am going on a hiatus. I really do like the game which is why I still play it despite the player count dropping. I will only be coming back when I can confirm the matchmaking balance as been resolved. The most fun games are when both team are similar in skill. They invade our base, we invade theirs, close calls etc. is super fun. One sided stomps are not fun on either side. Before adding new heroes, skins, items and so on, PLEASE fix the matchmaking balance. If it does not get fixed the game will bleed out and I won't be coming back.

i haven't had a game that felt good in over a month. most of my games are my team losing every single lane, multiple games in a row. not even fun losses

Every game I play now, someone leaves, says safe to abandon, yet im deranking, ive nuked 6 ranks cause of this every game, pretty close to not playing, cause as I drop, the players become worse and it isnt my fault... yeah im crying, this mm is horrible.
