Bad Matchmaking Thread

Another example of a ranked game that should not exist. (it shouldn't even happen in casual play, let alone ranked!)
How hard is it to just put players in a match that are within the same ranking tier?

Why do we have Oracle and top tier Archon level players in games with Emissary and Ritualist players?
Their Vindicta literally went 17:1, and our entire team had a negative KDR.

In the end we just stayed in spawn because there was no surrender option and no point in continuing.

I'm not sure why the matchmaker put both mid lanes at such a rank disadvantage. Is the game actively putting my team at a disadvantage when it could swap out the players between both teams to get better skill distribution?

I am getting this kind of matching too much recently. I am single person talking and giving coms. It's totally boring to play now mostly rank. That Mo guy rage quit halfway after not getting help from team and I get him why.
People must have mic to play ranks. They should implement this.

Got a Geist that is almost 2 full ranks below me and a couple others, and a Bebop that had no place in that match and fed an absurd 23 deaths, never played objectives, rarely ever with the team, and was constantly taking 3v1s. I assume they are likely the same-ish rank as the Geist for MMing/balance purposes. But this one was brutal, we were constantly playing 5v6.

Balance isn't have two god awful can't-play-at-all players on each team. Every player should be roughly equal skill level. Their Abrams was almost literally walking into me and dying, but apparently our Ivy was doing the same to them. Just embarrassing.

A ranked game in which despite ranks being roughly the same was horrifically unbalanced at a 15 minute stomp where one side managed 4 kills and the other did 37. This was not an individual issue by any means as the most kills a single person got in the losing team was 2. All lanes were a full loss with guardians dying literal seconds from eachother.

Bebop just abandoned his lane early after feeding. Seemingly didn't know the basics. Shouldn't be matched with this player.

I feel like I haven't had a balanced match in a while now. It felt good a week or two ago, I don't know what you've done since but it's bad.

I'm an Ascendant player and I keep getting matched in Phantom lobbies. I have maybe like 80% winrate in Ascendant lobbies, took a 2 week break and got placed in High Phantom (from High Ascendant previously), so I win like 20 games, now I lose 3 in a row because of a blatant cheater, a bad game and an afk, and now I'm getting placed in LOW PHANTOM lobbies. This is not fun for anyone, I'm just stomping these lobbies and it's not fun for me either

This message appeared when I started a party with my friend. Most of our matches were together and the only difference is that I played 1 competitive match. None of the lanes won. And after all, we didn't entered the match in the same lane. I am not understanding why it's so hard to lane together.
