Rank stuck on initiate 2 (VALVE FIX THIS PLEASE)

as several people have posted already, there is a weird bug in ranking where some players get stuck on initiate 2 specifically. I'm one of those players and I'm making another post so valve can pay attention to this annoying ass bug. I have 150+ hours in the game and a 50% win rate. The thing is, my rank does not move- it does not go up or even DOWN. My friends with less than half my play time and less skill are ranking up and down, while I'm stuck in initiate 2, it's genuinely insufferable to check my rank after every match- win or lose- mvp or not, and absolutely NOTHING changes. It's not fair and it makes the game less fun. And before you reply that ranks aren't everything and that it doesnt even matter or it isnt accurate- we know, that's not the point, it's a part of the game that makes it more competitive and enjoyable, not to mention it affects ur mmr and WHAT LOBBIES U R PLACED IN. VALVE PLEASE FIX THIS. i have a feeling it has to do with the fact my friends played the game a little earlier than me before the mmr update, which either way is bs and shouldnt be the case. either way, many people have complained about this with valve not giving a shit, please look into this.

People have less than 50% WR and are in Ascendant. Seen tons of profiles with less than 50% in Oracle/Phantom.

hey i have the same bug, i STOMP every single game... stuck in initiate 2 as well... so yes can confirm, it is a bug... stop ganging up on him and telling him he's bad or whatever... i made another steam account just to test, this one reached fucking ascendant 4... so yea... im just playing on that till thats fixed lol

seen a few other threads about it and made one myself, its weird but yea, its a real bug

I'd trade with you. Ritualist 4 lose every game or get hard carried, don't have fun in either case. Maybe you deserved the rank at the start but at some point ranks seem to get locked, I wonder if its play time based hence why new accounts don't get the issue.

i'd gladly trade ngl, trust me you dont want this, friends constantly going "skill issue," being stuck in the same lobbies while everyone advances around you, i joined a couple weeks ago, maybe a month or so, im up to 150 hours and still not budging,

Aye don't worry about it bro, the acct I started with this last month has 600 games players and I was initate for a good portion of it, that acct is now Alc/Arc, but I will say that my New account that i made to performance max is currently sitting at Emissary 3 with 16 games played 12 won, so LOWK, JUST LOWK. I think it might just be possible if your rank hits as low as initiate 2 then, it's for a reason, and then game intends for you to learn.
I'm saying this as a guy who spent over 300 games trying to break out of Seeker and once I made a new acct I instantly shot up through the ranks.

So yeah, it's gonna be a lot harder trying to fix your rank now, but i promise your rank isn't budging because you aren't winning/the reason for winning, not just because of some tech error that may exist.

But i did break out of initate 2, so it can be done. it's not broken.

Either this comment is Satire, or you are not a moba player. Yoshi has confirmed he doesn't mind alts as long as they aren't being used for any exploitive purposes.

As someone who plays sometimes 10-50 hours STRAIGHT, it's very VERY important that I have an account that i can train my autopilot//Practice and then an Account that I simply only try my best.

It's like Being on a sports team, and one account is practice, and the other account is Game time.

EDIT: And you must know, this is simply because Ranked is default. There isn't a choice, You can't play FOR FUN w/o potentially botching your rank, so yes.
