Once again I am making another thread regarding this broken rank system. With all due respect, how will you be able to collect fully accurate data if there is a large chunk of the fanbase stuck at a rank they don't belong in? How do you condemn smurfing when people with 200+ hours and high skill are stuck playing in initiate? or being forced to make new accounts so their rank can even BUDGE? Me and many many others have a very frustrating bug of which our accounts our stuck in initiate 2, despite having stats that say otherwise. I've heard people yapping about "if you are stuck in initiate 2 and still losing you belong there." There is a difference between the team against you being good and the team with you being actual garbage to the point they are actively feeding. You can carry as much as you can, but there are games you won't win. That being said, no one fully understands the rank system yet, but some people say getting MVP and key player affect it. How is it that when I play with my ritualist and arcanist friends (who have way lower stats than me), I manage to get MVP or key player 95% of the time? That is enough evidence that I do not belong in initiate 2. Not to mention that people with initiate skill level are reaching high ahh ranks without good reason (they have admitted this themselves).
My other thread has been trending for weeks now among Yoshi's posts since I've posted it and I am sure that the developers have seen it, yet they have not commented on it or acknowledged it. I have a lot of respect for this game and valve, but this is such a ridiculous bug that causes a huge imbalance in matchmaking and i'm sure affects the accuracy of the stats they collect. I also am not sure about this whole "your rank refreshes every week," claim. if the rank was remotely being refreshed or reset, maybe we'd see an actual change. Yoshi or really anyone, I plead with you to check this glitch. I don't mind it most of the time, but it's still frustratingly broken and I am sure players in the same position as me are so over this.
Here is my statlocker for reference, check at my performance analysis, i am literally playing at the skill level of ritualist in some matches yet the actual rank of the lobby is initiate or seeker (only when playing with friends). I know statlocker is not always 100% accurate and should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is the closest thing I have to any correct and detailed statistics. And I am not claiming to be this amazing deadlock player who should be the highest rank, bro put me in rank initiate 3 or 4 for all I care, JUST HAVE THIS RANK CHANGE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM. Please reply or like if you have this issue so that we can be acknowledged.
