I'm playing on Steam Deck, and for some reason, the game seems to always crash if I launch it in Desktop Mode. Gaming Mode is totally fine (in fact, I really like the specialized Steam Deck controls) but if I launch it in Desktop Mode, it will inevitably crash after like 30 seconds. I've tried to make sure that there's RAM free, but it doesn't seem to care.
In case it's needed, I'm running an LCD model that hasn't had any parts changed aside from a 1TB SSD that I installed to get more storage. I'm pretty sure it's 256GB originally but I could be wrong.
