[Consistent] Heavy melee cancelling with fleetfoot

Heya!

I'm unsure if this is a bug, but I found it randomly when testing out movement tech and I don't think it's intentional. I couldn't find any other thread of it, but I'm sure there are.

You can cancel a heavy melee by activating fleetfoot. It also allows you to parry instantly. In this case, I was using fleetfoot as it was giving me the most consistent results; you don't need to parry for it to cancel, but I'm doing so to show how it works.

Basically heavy melee -> before the melee animation is out, press fleetfoot and the heavy melee is cancelled. I attached a video of it.

You can cancel your heavy melee with a lot of items that activate instantly.

A while ago you were even able to use it to cancel the momentum stop from the end of the melee. They adjusted the momentum but kept the ability to cancel it, which could be seen as them intending to keep this mechanic.

However it is unintuitive behavior so the report is kinda valid, so don't worry about it.

Yeah, makes sense I guess. I was only able to replicate it fully with fleetfoot and not other active items, as they tend to get "greyed out" when meleeing, so I figured it was a bug. If indeed intentional would be sweet to get a "advanced tech" explanation of it some day.

There is no advanced tech anymore since they removed the movement benefit from doing it. Actually they made it worse than just dashing. The only useful bit is you can bait parry with it by canceling your heavy melee and then you get free heavy melee(s) on their parry cd. But it must be almost a year since I've last seen anyone done that. Paradox used to be able to do it with Kinetic Carbine as well but was also removed. You can still activate Carbine during a heavy melee but it no longer cancels the animation.
