Bad Matchmaking Thread

there's ZERO way that you're actually doing any fix on the matchmaking cause what the hell are these games. I got people INTENTIONALLY just running it down. I lost my previous game and I get paired with someone who literally plays like they don't even want to win the game. Whoever is in charge of fixing matchmaking, pick up the fucking slack cause I can guarantee a LOT of people are asking a fix on this shit storm.

While I agree that matchmaking can be improved, I don't think that acting with hostility is a good way to provide feedback. A good way to provide feedback is being kind and polite, not blaming your teammates and/or insulting the devs, let alone Valve itself.
A week ago, on 10 October 2025, I, an Obscurus player, was paired with two Arcanist VI players, several Initiate Is, and a bunch of fellow Obscurus players. Predictably, a lot of players disconnected (myself included), the match lasted less than 30 minutes, and we lost. The game considered both teams Seeker III for some reason. You can see for yourself how inconsistent matchmaking is right now:

Played along with my wife who fell from alchemist to seeker within 2 matches.
Started to get my well poisoned also cause I was trying to play with her while she fell down the stairs 15 ranks.
Constant quitters, rage baiters, biggots and griefers I haven't seen for almost a year.
How it started:
44962116
44965248 (got a guy harassing a kid on my team the whole game)
45044219 (as the one following)
45047616 (as the one following)
45117161 (those above along with this extremely unbalanced matches)
45128993 (instant match not counted for unknown reasons)
45180211 (last match I had before opening the report, Sinclair player was unusually a crybaby texting all the time since drop on lane on how "we lost")
I'm not used to such behavior and while my wife fell 15 ranks down the stairs I started to steeply, within 5 matches fall from Arcanist VI to Alchemist III.
From a panel of 8/8, 7/9, 9/7 Win/Loss to a 4/8 its a really staking difference, specially with the behavior I started to face on the game.
Will wait for a fix on this, its a really strange change on behavior and quality of the matches.

Talking with anger about anything will never help.
Statlocker was acutally pretty usefull since I know see that I'm usually ranked Arcanist (II ~ IV) but after the August Update I got put into Seeker (II~I) somehow and now calibration is a bit eefy.
Its a beta. We report, wait, play other games while the devs improve this one we like to much.

A couple of weeks ago matches were somewhat 50% utter garbage, 50% coin toss if competitive feeders in team.
This week feels like trying to always get the worst possible.

This player entered the match and adimited he just downloaded the game to troll matches.
according to statslock it was his very first match too, which also boogles my mind because why in the hell is he on my team?
His account is knew so might be a throwaway account.
The very next match we had a haze with 2 less than 3 hours perfect parrying everyone in lobby.
