---We don't know what they're doing with initiate ranks but it's theorized new accounts start with a negative mmr to smooth out the new player experience. Plus there's the problem that all we see are the average ranks post game, so there could be bad matchmaking based on averaging mmr that doesnt have anything to do with ranks having "imperceptiple" skill levels but instead the problem is how the vastly different ranks are allowed to be put together. I know whenever I get new players on my team it's because someone queued with them in a party and the game finds a way to average the mmr that way.
Even old(er) accounts seemingly are "de-ranked" almost into below "Obscurus"-ranks, if the (non-official) API website is to be believed.

Main issue currently indeed here both wins or losses are affecting my "ELO" insignificantly.

(( And my Statlocker "Performance Points" mainly being "in debt" is due to lack of last-hitting which the website currently is extremely biased towards as of posting this. ))
