Bad Matchmaking Thread

I have tried the best but still could not carry teammates.

I wonder,if u,yoshi fully recognize that your game matching mechanism may lead to fucking unwinnable game,why u made this last update,which makes it harder for the disadvantaged team to unlock new slots?The disadvantaged team has to suffer for at least a full twenty minutes and then be defeated by the opponent and in an insulting way .What the fuck are you all thinking about the matchmaking?I have played the game for abour 1k hours.I have tried so many games that lacked of team communication or matched hero combinations.why can not u just let players choose their heroes atfer the players are matched?why can not players surrender in an unwinnable game?why can not you ban auto parry cheaters?why player lack of soul have to stand richer teammates divide souls when he is jungling?I hope there can be a public and satisfactory answer. Otherwise, I will post separately to discuss issues of this game.
 
Pretty sure they've given up at this point. Considering the drop in players they're losing what, a couple thousand each month? Down to 14k peak for 4 regions. Then they stealth change matchmaking making every game; low rank lane, actual rank lane, high rank lane. Go on statlocker and check your matches. Unless it's peak hours all of your games are gonna look like this. If you are the high rank.. oh man. Have fun trying to carry 4-5 people.

Though I have to give Valve the slightest of credit in trying to help the 99% of players that refuse to play the game by TRYING to force them to do objectives by locking slots behind more objectives. Unfortunately it fell completely flat as all the dum-dums just complain about slots being harder to get rather than stop afk farming jungle and actually do objectives. Just derank players without any/too low objective dmg. Then they can circle jerk afk farm together at initiate I

A common scene:everyone pins the walkers or towers but there is always only 1 or 2 people walk in and push a full HP tower,while others farming or do useless fights.It's a pain to play with such player who does no help for team and acts like zombies.It's they force positive player to face more enemies when he wanna destory the tower for slots.After inevitable dying these zombies even blame him that he fed enemies meaninglessly.This update discourages players 'cause they have to take the risk of being betaried by their 'lazy' teammates.as for me,I always leave my line to help other teammates to push after I winning the first tower,but idk why it seems so hard to them to push it while another one joins.Positive players have to accept the punishment from other negative teammates,that's why I oppose this slot update.On the other hand,the unpredictability of the matchmaking sometimes makes a team with no 'AOE control','high AOE burst','long range','strong tank' or sth else.This mechanism further intensifies the imbalance of the game.It's been more than one year,I cannot believe that they don't allow players choose heroes and lines after they are matched just like DOTA or LOL for the stupid reason'we need more diverse match data'.God,there are just less than 30 available heroes to choose in a regular match and there has been more than thirty million matches done across the whole year.Overall,the matchmaking now is not more friendly to positive single players who wanna sharpen their own level.

Apparently I cant report the 2/17 Dynamo because I've already reported him recently.

How fucked in the head is matchmaking to have this piece of shit in my lobby?

You know whats worse? The Dynamo (Treevorthe1) is on my list of shitty deadlock players from probably a month or two ago yet somehow he's still able to play in matches with me just suiciding and not giving a fuck. This is a joke right?

What is the point of this complaint thread? Is it just a venting mechanism? Or is it simply here so the devs can have a laugh?

Spend some of your steam bucks and hire some game mods to manually fix this if you arent able to.

I think the game is balanced around pro play not pub play, that's why the changes to slots. I think it's really good, also it's easier to defend 1 walker/guardian than 2.

But I agree that my games have only fucking trash like 65% of the time, literally 2-3 guys who rage when I comm, but also don't look at map.

You can never balance a game around pub play because the average player has 2 brain cells, doesn't know even the basics or fundamentals of the game, they don't care. The majority doesn't even read patch notes. But Deadlock being completely devoid of a player base (at this point intentional by Valve) and their matchmaking having high rank with low just carries trash players enough to not derank harder and faster. Each game is 4-5 children being taken care of 1-2 parents and the trash can keep ~50% winrate and stay at Archon even though they should be initiate.

Enemy team had a Vindicta which either was a cheater or a smurf; own team had played against them multiple times and they were apparently exhibiting weird aim behavior in those games as well, topping the charts with multiple kills and in general being odd in their aim. Could be due to them being a high level or cheater; either way, extremely clear this match had a bad matchmaking going on.
 
Another day another 5 loss streak because team jungles, dont take buffs, dont take urn, objectives doesn't exist only farm and kills. I give up and uninstall again until next major patch and play for 2-4 weeks when the influx of returning players maybe make it somewhat playable without 10m+ queue even for ranks as low as Arcanist. 10min queue to play 45m+ game because no wants to do objectives. Every hour is just a waste. Time to play some demos and forget about this game.
