I agree it's hard, but this is the company that made Dota 2 so they've got at least got a reference and presumably the insight from that forh how to do matchmaking and solve it's quirks etc.

As a fucking baboon, I can only apologise...

I remember sometime last year Oct/Nov, they made a post (maybe here or on steam news) about how they are experimenting with new statistical techniques for matchmaking, and some kind calibration factoring more than just wins and losses.

But tbh, if you check my post history on this thread, I can confidently say that their approach has 100% failed.

Because of the lack of communication on their part, we can do nothing but speculate. It seems as if they haven't worked on the matchmaking algorithm whatsoever in months, but we can't know because they won't tell us anything.

Please implement strict Solo Q, I think Talon and Mirage were in party together chain griefing

And Mcginnis was just spamming voice comms with worthless info about her emotional state while she was chain feeding

Thanks guys, I was afraid matchmaking was fixed, but luckily it's still mega broken

Haze Mo Wraith and Kelvin sub-bot tier

Spent all game trying to get mo to buy blink and stamina, but his build was rteally good at rolling into the enmey and feeding

Somehow managed to pull through, but this Kelvin might be the worst player I've ever encountered in a game.
In fact, I think we would have had an easier time of this game 5v6, cause with Kelvin it was effectively 4 v 7.

Your matchmaking is bad if we are getting Archon 4s on the enemy team while we have mostly arcanists. Also, your emblem displays are incorrect if you have Emissary 1 vs Emissary 2 average rank. Maybe a bug or intentional?

skill disparity + griefer: player Sion (Haze), intentionally afk on the base shooting souls half of the match, if you look to the history of his matches there are 40min matches with 0 items. Reporting doesn't seem to work, ban please griefers, + he's been using slurs in chat.

Every single person on the enemy team had more kills than deaths. I was the only one on my team. Again, my current rank is 3 levels below the average level of this team. Match ID: 35782006

I just had an 8 game win streak.
As I approach ritualist/emissary, my teammates actually look at the map (not all, but you can identify the ones that aren't dogshit by watching their map moves)

So maybe there is hope for you bro, I play with comms disabled. I think I'm literally so toxic to my shit tier teamates that it makes them play worse.

The ping system needs a lot of work, but something I found really helpful is rather than ping the map (these guys are too fucking shit to ever look at it), try using the pings that make your char do voicelines, that way they will hear your call.

You can also cancel the audio of a voiceline and replay it by interweaving another voiceline, so you can use that feature to spam out important voicelines for the objectives.

Also there's aggressive and defensive pings, so bind them both so you can indicate to the idiots what you're trying to do, since if you ping objective aggressively while you're trying to back out, they might get confused and go back in since they've never looked at the map in their life.

Lash, seven, haze, yamato are in the same team. they use their ulties at the sametime every fight. Enemy has no chance to win in late game. Please nerf their ulties or increase their cooldowns. Every match they can easily win with only using their ulties in every fight.

Is the game trolling me? As soon as everything is going well for me, the game gives me newbies on the line who do 3 thousand damage in 30 minutes, is this a joke?

Guys is there a reason that I get matched with trash like this? Every teammate worse than a bot, and Holliday actually threw the game by making my team go mid instead of just fucking ending
