Bad Matchmaking Thread

The game was a shitshow from beginning to end. Not only was there an annoyingly strong Shiv on the team, but also they were hard carried by their Vindicta. To no one's surprise either, I checked their profile after seeing their pfp was blank. They're a blatant cheater with a vac ban on their account. Ban them. [ID: 32887000]

Hi my dear devs, here I am again :) If you see me again meaning YOUR MATCHMAKING SUCKS ASS AGAIN JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING WITH THE WHOLE SYSTEM?

The skill differences were comically huge and I have no idea how you guys managed to have it kinda "fixed" for some time and then completely flopped it again. Just when I think this game is good enough for me to recommend to more friends and then these unenjoyable games came. Every time when I think you guys at least deserves a little bit of credit, and then you guys completely undone every good thing that you guys have done. I guess you guys don't deserve credits after all then.

I get it, the hero balancing might be something that requires attention, BUT SO IS THE TEAM BALANCING. IN WHICH PART OF ANY OF YOUR RIGHT MINDS THINK THAT TEAM BALANCING ISN'T PART OF THE WHOLE GAME BALANCING???????

Match 32894066 Two terrible teammates. Enemy team was fine.
Match 32893254. Two terrible enemies, and my team was fine.
Match 32862321. Same as first match.
Match 32861298 Same as first match.

Those are the match id's from 4 of my last 5 games..... This makes it feel like how I play doesn't matter at all in some games, and that I might as well just sit in my room flipping a coin instead.

I just happen to get matched with a 5 stack of oracle players (I'm eternus V) and get matched against almost full eternus team.

Low MMR player so take this with a grain of salt, but this match felt pretty lopsided and not like the enemy team was our skill at all. Sinclair and Mo were really oppressive early on, but they were the only real threats on their team and they fell off quickly once we started taking objectives.

The difficulty behind this match is thanks to my teammates throwing themselves at the enemies with wild abandon, leaving a total death count of 55 on teammates, and 14 on the enemy team
I believe this match's fault Is due to players trying to unwind and play a game of deadlock without turning their brains on, as a result there were 0 communication beyond teammates, and 0 off-building, I played as safe as I could despite low contributions as a result of my default support role

32912634 infernus and dynamo are smurfing and boosting this holliday. steam names. infernus (KING FFN2} dynamo (hog erotic} holliday (meliad) i reported them all but doubt anything will be done about it. hopefully posting it here will have a better affect
 
1739512711425.pngMy team was 50k souls down at 15 minutes and still just smashing their faces into the enemy team over and over. Only reason any of them got kills was killing people in our pit as the enemy team tried to end. If this isnt matchmaking issues i dont know what is
 
I am ascendant 3. In this match (ID 32944732, I am the Abrams), I was placed against the rank #1 player NA in lane (before I begged for a swap and was granted it). This should mean that I am of equivalent skill level to that person, as the algorithm decided to place them against me at the beginning of the game. You might think this flaw could be caused by the possibility that I am the highest rank on my team, meaning I was the best match, but this also is not the case, considering I had rank #53 NA on my team (Jarate) and they were NOT automatically placed in lane against the rank #1.

This is exceptionally disappointing matchmaking and literally does not even make sense if the algorithm was functioning as it is intended to.
