Shoots a luger
Throw/pull main axe (like 2018 GoW)
Throw a spinner axe (boomarangs and then circles self)
Throw/pull (self in with) rope axe. Enemies hit are brought to a midpoint
Throw a lightning axe into the air (upwards 'toss' to a Z height / ceiling) that lightning strikes enemies your axes (melees count) hit within LOS

Hm. GoW axe pretty much is a boomerang and circling is mostly visual attention for a firefight. Nod to beastmaster & grab a basic primal roar? And maybe drop rope axe for better ult numbers and a re-theme into a teleporting kunai/crossbow (eg GW2's Infiltrator's Arrow)

The same axe is used for each ability it can (the ult's splits off another made of lightning on its casting swing) by eponymous who left-hands their gun, a pistol. It is swung for meleeing and charge punches come with a counter-helix. Wears a tank top and coal grey suit pants under beastmaster's beard on familiar red skin. A few sailor tattoos fit right in

* Brass knuckles come out for especially fast melees through the ult, conducting red lightning from wherever the axe connects. Activation grants a free cast of either Homing (default) or Blink to end early. Charging melee has a pistol stow animation before the large two-handed swing

Maybe: Sparking Roar flints the axe while eponymous spits gas

Maybe Tether Axe with an 'ungh' foley and the mutual displacement. Homing has a nice lit-but-not feel. Barring MTG references Thundering Axe feels like a good under-over sell

Oh right & a bird friend too, to help sell the Roar. Its 'healthbar' is to fly away for a time and it occasionally last hits or slows enemies for you

* Thundering Axe with the brass knuckles wouldn't need to split off a second made of lightning. Bird's upgrades probably best on the ult (with a nod to norse mythos by way of the axe). PS here's some eyeball food courtesy of Google Gemini:
