T3 weapon item: Dragon Punch
Upgrade from melee charge
  • +15% melee damage
  • +30% heavy melee distance.
  • Active (32s cooldown): cancel any action and your next melee attack that you land deal more damage and will launch your opponents away. Enemy launched into a wall will be stunned. Heavy melee hit launch velocity is higher.
  • Bonus melee damage: 15% (+0.8 per boon)
  • Launch velocity: 5m/s on light melee. 12m/s on heavy melee.
  • Stun duration: 0.35s on light melee, 0.7s on heavy melee.

Neato - but action cancelling is imho as much fun to master as eating around thumbtacks in one’s Cheerios. Here’s a spin on a for-dummies version of the active:

Active (48s cooldown): The first melee attack you make in the next 12s will be immune to stuns by parries, deal 15% (+0.8 per boon) extra damage, & launch any enemies it damages back to then be stunned by impacting terrain. If it is a heavy melee attack they will be launched with greater velocity & can be stunned for more time.

PS Selling the no-impact launch would mean slowing down that enemy near its end, but an equivalent stun while within that slowing period would feel weird: So invisibly threshold said stun on the launched player’s velocity? Or (again, invisibly) scale/drop down to a short one for a long launch’s last meters? IDK - it’s still a cool idea

An interesting idea.
But I don't like that this item allows you to stun opponents with a light blow in close combat.
Therefore, I would suggest leaving the stun effect of this item only with a charged close combat blow or removing the stun effect altogether.
