

Is this my first item suggestion, what do you think? I could not decide if it should be t2 or t3. But the general idea is a high risk high reward item and a player will only get one chance to pull it off. And if they don't, they lose the active and their soul investment fails. It'd be cool to see an active item that offers good early buffs but is risky enough to make people hesitate to buy it since you are basically gambling 1600 souls and a slot and risk falling behind.
I have been going back and forth on what the cast time and item timer (45s) should be. A 10 minute buff seems okay but it's still 10 minutes in a game like DL, lots of things could happen. Plus, I haven't a clue just how far players would push this item to its limits and whether or not it unfairly snowballs into a win which is why I included the smoke trail as a visual cue so that other players can adapt, extended cast time and enemy interruption. I feel there's an acceptable level of counterplay to this item but I could be very wrong. I do see ganking or front line heroes using this item for the most part even though I don't personally play them.
I also see Curse working as a counter item to Mystic Offering if someone buys it in late game.
