T2 Mystic Offering - spirit active item

Is this my first item suggestion, what do you think? I could not decide if it should be t2 or t3. But the general idea is a high risk high reward item and a player will only get one chance to pull it off. And if they don't, they lose the active and their soul investment fails. It'd be cool to see an active item that offers good early buffs but is risky enough to make people hesitate to buy it since you are basically gambling 1600 souls and a slot and risk falling behind.

I have been going back and forth on what the cast time and item timer (45s) should be. A 10 minute buff seems okay but it's still 10 minutes in a game like DL, lots of things could happen. Plus, I haven't a clue just how far players would push this item to its limits and whether or not it unfairly snowballs into a win which is why I included the smoke trail as a visual cue so that other players can adapt, extended cast time and enemy interruption. I feel there's an acceptable level of counterplay to this item but I could be very wrong. I do see ganking or front line heroes using this item for the most part even though I don't personally play them.

I also see Curse working as a counter item to Mystic Offering if someone buys it in late game.
 
I love the concept! Feels like it would fit the game thematically super well, I could see pick heroes like Drifter or Calico loving this for example. The counterplay aspects you thought of also make it pretty fair and interactive imo, just the part about "this Item can be destroyed by enemy damage." im not sure about. I take it you mean that after a completed channel it can still be destroyed by enemies during the 45 seconds? I think that might just be too much counterplay. Maybe a different angle could be that if the user dies during the 45s the killer gets like half the bonus instead? Would make the enemies also more likely to take a fight and not just disengage. Either way I hope this gets added.

Hi I'm super glad u like it; I think you are right about the enemy dmg to item counterplay, it does seem a lot now I think about it.

It has been interesting to think about which heroes would benefit the most from this item, I do think victor mains would insta buy it every game and they're already scary enough as it is lol. That angle on stealing buffs is interesting, it'll definitely make people fight more often tho it does sound like the item would have too many cons at this point. I think the consequence of losing a slot and 1600 is already bad enough on top of a very public fail haha. But yeah I hope the devs see this, I am so down to watch carry players go insane x)
