Replays fail to decompress

Every replay I tried to download in the past weeks fails in the decompression step after download with the error #citadel_replay_manager_error_partial_decompression_failure
Tried deleting the replay folder, which helped insofar as to get the error to occur later in the decompression process. But that may be a placebo.

I am having the same error. Did you figure out what the problem was?

I found the answer to this question. It is related to the replays being stored in the addon folder inside the game. There would be some mods that might be interfering with the decompression. So you have to delete that replay folder and create a replays folder under the citadel directory outside the addon folder. That way the replay gets downloaded in the correct directory and can be decompressed.
