ranking needs a rework

despite multiple players having 100+ hours into the game many of them are stuck in initaite 2. This isnt fair to many people who are already pub stomping new players in the game. I havn't been able to rank up initiate 2 at all since I got the game a few months ago and it ruined deadlock for me and my friends who want to queue together becuase of the long queue times. I cannot reccomend anyone this game becuase of how punishing this is to new players who want to check out the game themselves

They used to have a casual queue and a ranked queue separate according to the wiki, no idea why it was changed.

it was a fucking disaster that made everyone's games shit, and frankly there werent enough people playing consistently at the time. maybe these days it could work, maybe but it was bad for a while with it.

The lack of players is a good reason to be fair.

Huh? It was the best DL has ever been. Forced solo for ranked is how it should be in every single game. Matchmaking was top tier. Unranked was scuffed but playing with friends and getting people of widely different skill range is always gonna be scuffed.
