Random freezing during match

I have been getting very random (but guaranteed) freezes during every match. It happens around 2 - 4 times during a match.

Entire game would freeze for a second or two, and would then unfreeze and fast forward for the time that it spent being frozen. So it would basically fast forward for a second if the game was frozen for a second.

I am on latest Windows 11 version (23H2 stable channel), RTX 4090, 7800x3d, 32GB RAM. My performance in the game is great.

I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. Task Manager doesn't show anything weird once the freeze occurs, nor does Resource Monitor.

The freezes happen only in Deadlock.

I've used Nvidia Overlay's Statistics logging to try to see if something will be logged when the freeze occurs. Every time the freeze happens, GPU utilization would dtrop to 0% for the duration of the freeze.

I've uploaded the .csv generated from Statistics logging here because I don't see an option to attach the file here: https://files.fm/u/ssv7nr6cyq

In the line 173 you can see the GPU utilization being 0, and that is when the freeze happened.

Did you ever find a solution to this? It sounds very very similar to what I have occur in my games. I have very similar spec to you, no issues in any other games besides deadlock.

Sadly not. It still happens only in Deadlock and nothing has helped so far :(

I've been having similar issues, similar PC build as well. I've had little to no issues until today. My game freezes for a second, stutters, then I jump forward in time when the game catches up. I've also been having an issue where my inputs get dropped while holding down a button, e.g. holding down W to move forward, I will occasionally just stop moving forward and I have to let go of W and press it again to start moving forward. Also happens when holding down left click to shoot or accelerate in Viscous' goo ball.

Update on this: I've been able to fix this by just resetting my PC (running Windows 10) and it seems to solve it for a considerable amount of time. The issue did resurface again a few hours later but a reset fixed it again.

I also did a clean Windows 11 reinstall (24H2), and it fixed the issue for few games. It still happens now, but it doesn't happen every round like before.
