Petey Possum- a living cartoon brought to life by magic. Petey makes use of his unique toon abilities and possum pocket full of tricks to battle for the Patron’s favor and to earn his wish to be the greatest cartoon in the world. Petey is a mobile character with wacky movement and big, earth-shattering kabooms

Lore-Petey’s creator had big dreams when he drew him up. Cartoons, comics, movies, maybe even a theme park down the line. Petey had better ideas. Petey broke free from the flimsy white space borders around him and leapt off the page and into the streets of the Cursed Apple where he causes chaos in the form of destructive pranks. During the ritual he fights to make his wish of being the most beloved cartoon in the world a reality. Everyone's going to love him, they won't have a choice.

Gun- BANG-BANG! Petey fires with his trusty revolver (and best friend) Bang-Bang. Bang-Bang has low accuracy but a high magazine size. The alt-fire charges up and throws out a lobbed bullet/grenade that arcs forward and detonates shortly after hitting the ground, charging it up longer spends more ammo for more damage. For what Bang-Bang lacks in accuracy he makes up for with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm means a lot of bullets. Like, a lot. It’s more of a short-range mini-gun than a revolver.

Abilities

1-Possum Pocket-
Petey tosses down a Possum Pocket, a small totally black toon hole that sticks to the floor. Petey can have 2 pockets out at once and they are thrown like a frisbee to place them. Petey can jump from one pocket to another by jumping into it(like jumping onto a zipline). Petey will first peek from the pocket, revealing his upper body at the 2nd pocket and can decide to exit or return to the original pocket. In that state Petey can fire from the pocket. Either end of Petey can be shot while peeking and meleeing him will stun and drag him out of the hole while destroying them. An enemy that walks over a pocket will be briefly burried and destroy the pocket.

2-Pratfall- Petey jumps into the air and begins to spin forward at high speed. While Pratfalling Petey can not dash/air dodge and will uncontrollably bounce off surfaces. When bouncing off something Petey will create a shockwave with size and damage based off distance fallen. Petey can fire his gun during Pratfall. Pratfall can be cancelled, but Petey will only stop once they’ve hit the next surface after giving the cancel command.

3-Prank- Petey’s passive with an active. Petey’s toon elasticity increases with each level, making him more resistant to melee damage and he also gains unique toon movement abilities. He can sprint off surfaces to walk on air for a short time, his light melee becomes a stretch slap, and his slide becomes a more controllable roll that can be slammed into enemies for melee damage. Using the ability key allows Petey to pull a prank item from his pouch. Prank items cycle in order while Petey is searching his pouch, hit the key to choose the one you want and save it for a limited time.

Bananas can be tossed down to knock up enemies that walk over it.

Pies are thrown to reduce accuracy.

Bombs can be bowled forward to explode on contact.

Anvils are thrown down to create a shockwave and drag down enemies hit with it to stun them.

4-WILLIAM- WILLIAM (Big Willy to his friends) is a large bullet that charges up over time and as Petey deals damage. The more damage Petey does, the larger his next WILLIAM will be. WILLIAM can be fired early for a smaller, faster li’l willy. WILLIAM has a small delay between shots and uses short cooldown charges.. The largest variants of the ability deal splash damage.
