Patron's Urn

Misc category, no stats 6.5k souls. On purchase, equips you with a unique spirit urn that you must deposit in the pit of the enemy team's base below the enemy patron. To balance it, you'd probably want it to apply the same silencing debuffs etc. that the regular spirit urn does while held.

Depositing the Patron's Urn gives the same rewards as depositing the spirit urn (souls + ability point). Like the spirit urn, you can drop it and have an ally pick up the urn to run it instead.

If the enemy team picks it up, it either (a) works identically (they must run it to your base), or (b) functions as a normal spirit urn (they only have to run it to the square of middle of the map).

This becomes an expensive and risky way to buy souls and extra ability points for your team.

I don't get it. So If I buy these and deliver it how much do I get? Aldo this is an item for the very late game. You couldn't even use it in the case of losing a game.

It would be better to buy it if you are already winning because you would have more control over the map.... so... no? I think this is a bad idea actually.

Same as the existing spirit urn: The souls split among the team and capturer gets 1 ability point + 25% souls, but it would be cooler if the souls were more split across the team or if everyone got ability points / they went to people that needed them. Currently if it were like the existing spirit urn, you'd have to give it to a teammate for them to get an AP and bonus souls. Running it yourself would be for the AP and maybe a gamble at 6,500 + 25% souls.

There are a lot of issues with this idea. Firstly: the urn is a well understood objective. Everyone knows when it spawns, where it spawns and where it needs to be taken. This item would violate that completely; it's a complete crapshoot for enemies to determine whether it is active somewhere.

An even bigger problem is the meta implication of such an item. Say you are a support (assuming those will exist at some point) and we assume your suggestion is competetively viable, then you will be expected to buy this item and bring it to the opponent's base regularly. This makes the item a miserable addition for those characters, as it is a risky chore that has the ability to destroy your personal game.

In no scenario can I think of this item being a good addition to the game.
