a suit of hollow broken knight armor thats magically animated (yk the idea)
Primary fire: First melee primary fire hero, has a sword he can swing for basically light melee at a slightly increased speed and reduced damage, this primary attack cant be parried but otherwise scales off melee items as regular (normal/charge melees will function as regular)
secondary fire: the knight has a personal directional shield with small default hp he can activate this using secondary fire, this will put up the barrier in the direction hes facing but also slow him heavily
1: (defense/escape)Raise shields: active expands the radius of his shield and removes the movement debuff from shielding temporarily allowing him to block projectiles for his team,(thjis has a long cd is his bread and butter for creating space and pushes once its scaled, regardless shields will be weak when this isnt active but extremely strong when they are) leveling this up gives your shield from this or secondary benefits 1.gives your shields a spirit ratio and more active bonus base hp 2. reduces cd 5.you and your shields gain bullet resist while active
2: "leg" sweep, the animated armors "legs" detach and quickly float around in circle knocking down enemies in a close range applying a short stun and dealing moderate spirit damage (not a long stun probably shorter in cd and duration than 7s mostly an interrupt until upgraded) 1.decrease cd 2.increased damage 3.increase stun to be long enough to get a heavy melee in
3:Shield of souls: a relatively fast charging charge spell that does light spirit damage and has the ability to deny or secure souls souls denied or secured by this increase its damage by 1 permanently (this is his only ranged option and it cannot be used while raise shields is active)the magical armor throws its shield and it shatters shootinjg shards to two close additional target then levitates and rearranges back in the knights hand (you can bounce off a soul but not onto a soul ex. securing a soul can bounce to a minion but hitting a minion will never secure floating souls.) 1.gets an additional shatter target 2.increases shatter range and shard damage(secondary targets now take more rather than the same damage) 3. decreases cd and charge time
4: chivalric code: passively grants move speed when heading towards an ally within a large range or whenever near an ally in a small range Activate to boost this and grant it to nearby allies as well long cd (effects from spell investments will work only for you while passive part is active or when ult is used) 1.grants weapon damage bonus 2. grants fire rate and melee speed rate increase 3.reduces cd
notes and idk, i imagine it being old broken down suit of armor that has been animated by the spirit of a knight but hes not quite sure who "brought him back to life after all these years" give him a spanish accent and make him a bit goofy don quixote this b, the armor is cracked and surging with the soul/spirit energy animating it, on a gameplay note i feel like 1.we need a true melee hero where range is their backup 2. a proper shield tank ik this game is more similar to dota/league than OW but the lack of a rein style shield feels like its missing something ofc this can be very strong which is why i think its best to make it small and like a personal shield so he can farm and stuff in lane as a right click but then make it a proper reinhart style shield when its active. in terms of the abilities theres a few thing i could change mainly the 2 ability leg sweep i was kinda at a loss with what to do here it was either some kinda sword slash which we got plenty of and he already does plenty of melee or some kinda charge, i decided both of those sucked cause the sword slash would be to similar to yama or mina and its also overkill and a charge doesnt fit the playstyle i imagine for him with his ult giving him massive movespeed when he works with his team i think it should stay like this so he can be a threat that can intercept and protect his team but not run you down and chase you as easily i imagine him being a protector style support that focuses on denies in lane and then owns team fights with big shields and buffs late game while always posing the same threat as any melee in melee, i think making his ult passive work like that forces him to play around his team or "charge with" them rather than just diving off into the backline like many tanks do now
