Hello!
This game has a lot of heroes which are able to perform combos. So i came to an idea of an item to:
1) reward a successful combo with an additional damage
2) solve an issue of a weak basic attack for combo spirit heroes
Example of a simple combo for Apollo: FLAWLESS ADVANCE (3rd skill)
Ability -> BasicAttack (BA) -> Ability -> BA -> Ability
Flawless advance has been made this way, so Apollo could insert a single BA in between his moves. One of the issues of Apollo is that his BAs gets pretty weak in lategame due to him benefiting the most from building Spirit and Green items. There are other ways to solve it, but i found a more fun idea - an item, which will empower your next BA after you land an ability.
This is a raw idea, but here is concept of this item:
Spirit Item
Passive ability: Cooldown 0 sec.
After using an ability, your next basic attack will become empowered, consuming double the amount of ammo, getting a larger projectile and dealing an additional Spirit Damage (based on your spirit, or based on your basic attack damage, damage-wise, it could deal like x3-4 of a single attack damage, but extra damage would land as a spirit damage).
Stats could be different. I think this item could be very cool for heroes like Apollo, Mirage, Calico, Pocket, Celeste and maybe some others. So, heroes, which don't have a high attack speed, not always go for gun items, but still want to benefit from using basic attacks.
