A Combo Based Melee Item?

So when I'm playing a melee hero (which isn't often but occasionally I do) I enjoy using a variety of heavy and light melee attacks. And that got me thinking: it'd be fun if there were an item that gives you bonuses if you manage to land different melees on the same target

Idk if it would be damage, healing, resist or whatever, the idea is that you get something as a reward for mixing up melees. Just off the top of my head it could be something like:

[When you land two light melees on the same target in a row, your next heavy melee will do extra damage.]

Doesn't necessarily have to be that specifically, I just think it'd be neat to reward melee combos.

Check my posts under this forum. Tell me what you think!

Your suggestion about a melee item that provides invisibility is pretty interesting and I think it could be a viable reward for landing the combo.

Land two light melees into a heavy melee? Now you're invisible and can reposition for your next move! Maybe add in a speed boost to aid in repositioning. I think that's fun and could definitely work!

If it were an item I would probably make it a spirit item, that way there'd be a invisibility option for every flavor of item. Gun has Shadow Weave, vitality has Veil Walker, and so spirit would have "Invisible Melee Combo Item".

Worried about it being abused by cracked people. They should opt into move speed or fleetfoot.

You can predict the invisible people by hearing their footsteps, but with stalker it can nullify it. So you can parry like superman if you sense they are going to punch you. They can see effects coming from them, air dashes, etc, but they are invisible themselves. Think haze stealth, but you can't see them even upclose.

This means some items with visual indicators can be buffs if able to apply or applied before. This makes dispel magic that more attractive. It won't be entirely bullshit.

Yup! I agree with Spirit T4 melee item for the invisible thingy. The vitality equv would be spirit strike.
Another T4 gun item would be gun frenzy for light melee (as suggested). Another is, of course, Shadow weave.

Now that I think about it, split shot, toxic bullets, slowing bullets, etc could work very nicely.

There is a lot of synergy potential. To counter and to play with the invisiblity granted on a kill. Melee should be high risk, high reward. Break out the ties of low risk safer reward.
