Holliday ult rework idea

Holliday's ult right now is very good yes, but can be outclassed by many.

My idea is changing it to being a thrown area of effect, like a real lasso. A circle that can catch everyone inside of it to get much bigger value ultimates. Possibly it could be a channeled ability, where you have to hold it and swing the lasso above your head to generate a larger area and therefore telegraph it to the enemy. Maybe current lasso could stay as a tap version of the ultimate.

Balancing wise I can see how keeping the duration would be a problem for huge multihits, possibly the duration is reduced when it is in its area of effect version?
 
They either need to giga buff her lasso or nerf the no skill ults that do her job better than Holliday. For example, Wraith a carry hero should not have a no aim pick ult that is better than Holliday a pick hero.

My only issue with your recommendation is that if you increase the are the lasso can hit, you take away or lower the skill requirement needed to land the lasso. At that point I’d rather just play Mo, who’s broken and has a Low skill ceiling.

Hollidays main issue at the moment is that she doesn’t have a way to do consistent damage, like Paradox. Her barrels get out scaled by everything, and are hard to hit.

It really sucks that Holliday has a really high skill ceiling, and you get no reward for mastering her. You could just play Mo, and get so much more value for a low less effort
