[Hero Concept] Sharpe, The Golem Boy

This is Shorpy Higginbotham, victim of child labor in 1910 and the inspiration for the character.

Lore:


Victim of industrialization since the Astral Gates' opening, Sharpe labored in the depths, tasked with breaking, extracting, and mining coal, ores, and otherworldly artifacts. His fate sealed itself in a moment of careless ambition—while mining one of these mysterious relics, the earth gave way. Walls collapsed, burying him beneath tons of stone and dust.

But death was not his escape.

Instead, his soul seeped into one of the very artifacts he sought to plunder. Desperate and fractured, it clawed its way back to the surface, binding itself to the blood-soaked rubble scattered around his broken body. He rose as something no longer human—a living golem, animated by rage and otherworldly power.

He joins the Ritual with a single, desperate plea: to become a boy again.

Notes:
  • He hates all beings related to Fairfax.
  • He met McGinnis once and he hates her.
  • He hates buying Fairfax items.

Melee: Huge pickaxe on his back to visualize how his tools are almost his size.

Skill 1: Boulder Sling

  • Sharpe uses his pickaxe to mine and throw a boulder dealing spirit damage on impact.
  • Rock Charge Modifier: Mini stun enemies, consume 1 charge. The boulder is darker to indicate it was used with rock charge.
Notes:
  • The boulder will remain for sometime and will have collision. It can be used to quickly block projectiles, block pathways and doorways, as steps to parkour on walls, etc.
  • 1 heavy melee or 2 light melee to destroy.
  • It will automatically break something spawn on location like buffs, crates, etc.

Skill 2: Geomagnetic Pull​

  • Target an enemy, ally or boulder and manipulate the ground to displace heroes and pull slightly towards your position. Fading slow.
  • Rock Charge Modifier: If Boulder have rock charge, pull it beside you and reactivate "Boulder Sling" effects for that boulder. If enemy have Slate Armor, pull them beside you similar to rescue beam.
Notes:
  • The inspiration for this skill is Earth Spirit's Geomagnetic Grip.

Skill 3: Slate Armor​

  • Passive:
    • Enable ability to gain rock charge.
    • 1 Rock Charge: Adds HP, significantly increase melee damage, increase model size and decrease movement speed.
  • Active:
    • Increase resist for self or ally.
    • Consume 1 Rock Charge.
  • Gaining Rock Charge:
    • You can gain rock charge by hero kill, assist, rock pebbles for killing creeps (similar to Graves), and just walking around 50 meters.
Notes:
  • The inspiration for this skill is Tiny's Grow.
  • Model Size:
    • 0-1 Rock Charge = Almost Rem size and can fit in sewers.
    • 2-3 Charge = From medium size like Grey Talon to Bebop size.
    • 4++ Charges = Can't even fit in doorways.

Skill 4: Colossal Sling​

  • Target an area then stun all enemies around it. Optional target: Similar to Ivy's Air Drop, you can load ally nearby. You can also load a boulder nearby that will reactive its "Boulder Sling" effects.
  • Rock Charge Modifier: If you have rock charge, consume all charges for additional burst damage.

Notes:
  • This is Ivy's Air Drop + Tiny's Toss.
