As a leprechaun and a banker Midas is defined by his greed and love of gold. And he will get the gold that he "rightfully" deserves. Whatever the cost may be.

Lore:
Leprechauns powers are based on the size of their stash of gold, hidden away where the rainbow ends. For Midas, no amount of power was ever enough to satisfy him. He even made an entire bank, just with the purpouse of getting more gold. But it still wasn't enough. Now he joins the ritual, so the patrons can fulfill his wish for an endless overflow of riches.

Gameplay:
Midas is a ranged poke character similar to Vindicta. He builds up increasing damage throughout a fight, while sitting on the highground and safety on his platform.

Weapon:
His weapon is a golden revolver infused with leprechaun magic. (check weapon stats above.)
(For the nerds who want all the stats, his reload speed is 2.3s and his bullet velocity is 800m/s.)

Ability 1:

The coin provides Midas a bit of burst damage, AoE damage, and an ability to shoot enemies around corners.

Ability 2:
Clover-Plate-1774082577.png

Basically his version of a "flight" ability. The platform can be used to create your own highground, by dashing upwards, but it can also be used as an escape tool by dashing away from enemies.

Ability 3:
Taxing-Shots-1774104799.png
Passive spirit damage on your bullets, that build up by doing damage. This ability is key for his damage output. (and yes the max health damage would also be amped, so it could be 0.8% max health damage.)

Ability 4:
Golden-Bullet-1774092138.png
Pretty simple stun ult, basically a ranged version of Infernus ult. Helps build up Taxing Shots to max damage even faster.

Notes:
I wanted to make a fun poke character, and i love leprechauns so i couldn't really resist making this. His name is of course a nod to the story of Midas and is quite fitting with his endless greed. Thanks for reading! Questions and feedback is of course very welcome :D

Its simple but very effective. I love characters that shoot coins, that's always cool. I think the ult is very interesting in how boring it is on its own, but when combining it with the coin you have a cool unique team stun.

I think the t3 for the coins is weird and is better served in another game, usually you know where your enemies are if you want to shoot them because you have highlights, clear sound design and a minimap which show you. Instead I think the coins should have charges and if you hit multiple in a short period you get some sort of bonus.

Also a big missed opportunity to not tie gold (souls) more into the design. I feel like a leprechaun character needs some extra economy abilities. Like maybe he has a pot of gold which is hidden around the map you can search for which accrues gold as the game goes on. Everytime Midas find it he gets souls and the next time you find it itll have even more so you're sort of a lone adventurer searching for your pot of gold throughout the game.

Love this idea, for the platforms I might suggest either making them pretty darn big, or making the buff he gets for standing on them decay slowly after he steps off or he's just gonna be a sitting duck up there.

Ay thanks for the feedback! In regards to the coin I think you might be right. In terms of gold/souls I was afraid of making something too broken as economy manipulation is always scary. And his T2 on his 3 does grant him a bit of bonus souls with the idea of giving him something money related. I’ll definitely Consider this tho. Thanks again!

The idea is that he can use his platforms as a flight ability similar to vindicta, and since it has charges you can also use it to get away. And the T3 upgrade immobilizes people trying to jump you, so you get a chance to get away. Thanks for the feedback though!
