[Hero Concept] Circles Ability Hero
This hero and design is based on a quote from Team Liquid Blitz:
"Dota is a game of circles, whoever has the most circles wins the fights" (something along those lines)
Circles, as a concept in moba games, is a jargon for area denial/control/damage/etc.
The more circles you have within the environment of a fight could determine who ends up winning.
We can see this in Deadlock with Lady Geist bomb or Alchemical Fire.
Now, these abilities are actually pretty toxic and annoying for the enemy player and a hero that would be entirely based around this concept could be very powerful/annoying.
Main concepts/ideas that I had for this hero:
- Every bullet and ability would create a circle (passive effect/ability effect)
- The hero, from his circle hands, shoots circles that grow in size as it travels. Units caught within the circle take weapon damage.
- If the bullet circle hits surface, it will create an area circle from the hero's passive that will do an effect based on the surface it landed on.
- If the bullet circle travels further than bullet dropoff range, it pops like a bubble and does not create a circle.
- Items that create circles would be core items for this hero - passive that combos with more circles
Circle types:
- Circles that deal damage overtime if inside the circle.
- Hero can create a circle that slows heros
- ...

Sorry for the simple/basic design/idea. Its mostly for the hero concept/design discussion.
