Yesterday and before I was really stable, like always above 140 stable. never noticed much dips.
Today im consistently dropping to 20 FPS
EDIT: I didn't have time for a ton of testing. But I do know at one point I was alone killing minions. My FPS dropped to 30 quickly, I shot their soul orb and it instantly went back up to 144+. I don't know if the drop had anything to do with the orb, my position / angles or what. But I do know it was an almost instant change.

Same here. Before todays update the game was perfectly stable. Games today have had drops to what feels like 30 fps and even audio cutouts for about 5 seconds.

Same issue, started today.
r9 5900x, rtx 3080, 64gb RAM. game ran pegged at ~250 fps 96% of the time before today - where I had multiple instances of widely varying fps dipping as low as 38 and never getting higher than 100. It was sporadic and seemed random.
CPU wasn't running hotter than 67C, GPU sat at 73C with varying loads. Checked processes and noticed it was consuming 8gb of memory which not sure if that's leaky or expected.
The issue seems to (temporarily? I haven't tested beyond 10m in sandbox after restarting the game) resolve itself after reopening the application.

Confirming that today's patch has drastically impacted performance on my GTX 980. Wasn't amazing before of course but now it becomes bad enough to affect my gameplay when anything mildly interesting is going on.

Minimising graphics settings helps a tiny bit but not a ton. Have only tested DX11, have not had a chance to compare with Vulkan.
Would love to know what more information can be provided to help.

Having FPS issues as well. Normally get over 100 FPS. Got drops down to 50 FPS, 30 FPS, and even 10 FPS. I noticed changing my graphics settings fixes my performance for some time, but it will drop again. Was using Vulcan during the match.

truthfully the performance was always bad, but this patch did make it worse.
1050Ti. i usually get around 60fps in cs2 on medium/high settings, but in deadlock, with everything low, and at 75% viewport resolution, the game struggles to maintain 40fps. it can dip much lower during hectic teamfights. being near the new sinner's safe brought me to 3fps.
in cs2, bullet impact, blood, and smoke particles absolutely tank performance. could the same be happening with the particles in this game?

I have the game on lowest settings and over the course of the match this would happen especially when ADS.
