I've been thinking of a game mode idea for a while now that would be more casual game mode like street brawl to help new players learns mechanics of deadlock now hear me out, deadlock Mario Kart sort of, a movement game mode with either a set map or procedurally generated map that plays like a racing game but centred around deadlocks movement of wall jumps, dash jumps, air dashes, mantle hopping, mantle dash hopping etc, make the game mode character neutral (use the dummy model for everyone or Sinclair) and the Mario Kart aspect of the game is random boxes of a random character ability, that slows your opponents down, i.e. vindicta tether, dynamo stomp, venator shotgun blast, paradox wall, etc you get the idea, add a couple of air vents for catching up maybe some shortcuts if you can pull them off, and I think it could work as a great game mode to show newer players the movement mechanics of deadlock while being fun.
