Either can't stop shooting or can't shoot

I've encountered this bug this whole day where I am not even left clicking but am just shooting constantly. I am able to still use abilities.
After awhile, I then cannot shoot at all and can't use any abilities/items that require me to left click at all. The only way to stop it is to close the game and jump back in but, after awhile it comes back.

I was Kelvin if you are able to use the match report to view.

Also tried deleting the game and redownloading it but still remains.

I actually have this same bug.
And sometimes when I alt tab my gun turns into an infinite ammo laser that does no damage.

Laser bug happens aroud 9:10. Whole match before I couldn't control my shooting.

for the fact that this is still going for me and at least two others that I know, its super frustrating and making me not want to play.

Can't have one game without it happening. Just have to play bebop because you don't need to shoot or activate abilities

i had the same issue in the last game. I just can't fire and even bind fire to any other button on keyboard doesn't help

it baffles me that it is still a bug. It's been posted about since June at least that this is happening

Same stuff here / literally happens 1–2 times in every game / full reinstallation with settings reset doesn't help / match ID 19442953 / 6 min (happened with other heroes also)

it happens with all heroes and no way to actually stop it.

even if you close game midmatch there is no guarantee that it is fixed either. I couldn't care less about a voice line being updated or anything else, just want this to be fixed after multiple months of it happening

Good morning my fellow deadlockians! I dont know whether im glad that im not the only one who is experiencing this issue or sad that multiple people are having the same issue as I am.

Now I'm not a gambling man, but the fact I have to gamble on whether I can shoot really bursts my bubble.

Not a single day goes by where I think they have truly addressed this.

Words cannot begin to describe how bad this is. as at 17 October A FULL MONTH of me saying this bug exists and it still happens.

I felt positive about playing ranked only to not be able to control my shooting and it breaking the rest of the game. Negative affect on all players in any games I am in because this can't be addressed.

Apologies for this from now on but I will continue to bump this to the top until it is fixed.

Every single game I have played for over a month has this same issue of not being able to shoot (LMB will not work)

it's happened when I use abilities and it's also happened when players hit me with stuns. There is absolutely no way of knowing when or where it will happen but it is a constant occurrence in all my matches.

Even if I want to play, I am locked to only two characters (Ivy and Geist) where it doesn't matter if you can't shoot. This can't keep on happening

quick troubleshooting question:
Have you tried using another mouse to see if it's an issue with your mouse? If yes, that's fine. I just have seen the issue of being unable to shoot and it's cause my left mouse button is going out. It works MOST of the time, but sometimes it doesn't and it doesn't seem to register in deadlock. My solution was replacing the mouse.

Hey there, I changed computers altogether, my mouse, keyboard and also reinstalled it too.
I have never had an issue with any mouses at all going out.

to me it sounds like client desync / internet issues, maybe the console might have some information? like when a big bug like this occurs open the console and look for the issue? good luck though!
