Creep hitboxes

When creeps are running, their hitbox is lagging very far behind and you cant even shoot at their actual model or in front of them (with travel time bullets) since it wont register.
 
Any update on this? This is still an annoynance especially on heroes like lady geist since you might waste half a clip because you don't know how far back you should shoot.
 
imo weapons should be hitscan, with significant damage drop-off on range you already don't do any damage long range, but maybe valve want more closeup fights, still gun play feels bad/unsatisfying in this game currently

Gun play feels good right now and this isn't about gun play but creep hitbox decync from visible model when they are running.
 
Has nothing to do ping. Happens in sandbox 0 ping and in normal games the same.
well, that doesnt happens to majority of player base so it must be client. I think that its either ping or hardware. You could give more examples of how its been happening in current game build.

It's been the same for over a year, not a client issue. When creeps are moving thei hitbox is inaccurate. This same bug makes it really hard to shoot ziplining creeps on low fire rate heroes . Also when creeps are dropping. The faster the movement, the more inaccurate the hitbox is. Heres another video from sandbox. The only bullets that hit are the ones that aim far back. Mirage bullet velocity with high vel mag should make it near hitscan at that range.
