Soul orbs timing, buffering, lag compensation

It's happened a lot on lower velocity guns (Paige, Kelvin, etc.) but especially bad on Paige. Might be because her bullets can penetrate units, That's could also be a bug.

bump on this im usually playing on really low ping (5-10) and i can immediatly tell when my opponnents have a fairly higher ping when it comes to confirm, recently i was forced to use a 5g device to play cause of my internet provider crapping but i ended finding my self denying way way more orbs on a shitty ping
I'm really not sure this is how it works. I have relatively high ping of 47, most of Australia is on the east coast and has under 20. I can hit orbs on frame 1 and still be denied. Ping overwhelmingly favours the lower value despite compensation.
 
Can this please be fixed, certain games other players are able to shoot orbs before they even become visible/able to be shot - even when I'm actively shooting it. I have fiber with < 20 ms ping to the server host, this shouldn't be a thing.
