A mob hit revived by occult nonsense/the maelstrom/whatever after being dumped in the ocean or a swamp. A dripping wet zombie covered in mud and/or still wet cement only capable of parroting back phrases he heard from his killers while stuck in the trunk of their car and just before they whacked him- "You guys feel like pancakes after this?"
General idea is a tanky support that wants to sit in combat and make trouble, reducing the effectiveness of healing and slowing opponenets. As a weapon he'd sling mud/cement from his arms as a wide spread shotgun while focusing on shielding allies from incoming damage.
I think most hereos should have an alt fire, and his gun is probably so close range that he's not aiming anyway so- alt fire is a sludge bomb, or he pulls out a sawed-off for a blast with a tighter spread and much higher damage

Ability 1- Cement shield "It's not drying right..."
The hero covers themselves in a bullet/spirit shield, once it breaks it unleashes the nasty dead person smell it was holding in and spreads a debuff(healing suppression?) and maybe does some damage Aphotic Shield style. Could also heal himself and those around him when it breaks.
I don't know about this one. I'm not sure the game even allows for universal shields, I think everything is either spirit or bullet and giving both is just a free Divine Barrier. Maybe only a bullet shield, or it gains both as you level it up.

Ability 2- With The Fishes "Must be dozens of guys down there."
A new and original ability tha-ahhh, it's Undying tombstone. It's just Undying tombstone. I love that thing. The hero raise up a floating corpse/coffin/barrel with an arm poking out of it that spreads out a field that slows enemies and spawns the legions of the undead to claw at them. Maybe at higher levels it spawns in Tommy gun using zombies to take shots at out of range or flying enemies. Or at higher levels the center piece opens up to launch mortar-like shots at enemies.

Ability 3- Mud-Slap "I stepped in something!"
A grenade-style ability that leaves behind a healing supression field. The first enemy, or enemies that are directly hit have an arm attached to them. While attached with an arm, enemies will have their position given away and be visible for a short time. Maybe it can slow, but I think I'm just adding "it can slow" and "healing supression" to everything right now and that feels like a bit much.

Ability 4- Surge Forward "Just toss 'em in."
The hero encases himself and launches forward through the air in an arc to slam down, splashing cement around him. Enemies directly hit are stunned, but splashes of raining cement can slow further enemies.
Alt Ability 4-Mob Rules "He's still moving!"
an alternative ult that I thought up because I keep thinking about Undying. So it is just Flesh Golem, but the hero becomes an amalgam of corpses with zombie gunners coming out of the cement on his back to act like mobile turrets. You get bonus health, resistance, whatever- you get really tanky. The zombies could use sawed-offs and be best at close range. While in this transformed state, the heroe's charged melee becomes a heavy hitting slam attack that deals bonus damage. Maybe Surge does less slowing and no stun but acts as a transformation into Mob Rules so he can launch himself into battle and come in as a giant. The map has a lot of tunnels and low ceilings, so he could crawl around as a big ball of corpses with guns sticking out of it instead.
