Bad Matchmaking Thread

Incredibly unbalanced game. I'm in Ascendant and my team felt like it was their first time playing - overextending stupidly, taking dumb trades, ignoring defending walkers, dying over and over, etc. The other team by comparison may have been a 6 stack? based on their coordination, I'm not sure. but it was incredibly unfun to play out. not even sure why people on my team are in the same elo.

One of the wildest skill disparities I've seen so far for a lane. Paradox and Krill duo died the second they landed off zip and went a collective 0-19 in lane.

By 15 minutes the game was completely out of hand.

Taking a look at the MM this Krill and Paradox are almost 12 divisions lower than the rest of the lobby.

Surely the server population is large enough not to have this sort of nonsense matchmaking.

A crew of cheaters playing together (73267592, i.e.). VAC-banned accounts:

Edit:
One more with a fresh VAC-ban: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198755802336/
Cheaters should be immediately perma banned but morons on Valve can't hire 2 people to do it. It's obvious that the anti-cheat never works (Dota 2 and CS are proof). But at least 2 people can do this job and manually ban cheaters. It's okay tho, it's just an alpha game. :)

How is matchmaking fair? I don't understand how this is a game. Paradox, Apollo and Victor are literally bots. They look like they haven't seen a PC, let alone played this game. JUST PLEASE LOOK AT VICTOR AND PARADOX, PLEASE! Vindicta was god awful too. Just horrible matchmaking. I like the concept of the game, and I want to play it, but this matchmaking makes me want to end it. I waited 8 minutes for this game to be found to be put in a lobby with complete fucktards and get completely stomped under 25 mins.

Thanks, Valve! You're the worst. I hope Yoshi and everyone else involved in the development of the game gets cancer and your families die in pain. Fuck you!

Hi everyone,

First of all, sorry in advance — I know this topic can get people pretty heated, and I’ll probably get some backlash for bringing it up and i know this topic has been discussed quite a few times, but I needed to talk about it...

I’d like to suggest the addition of a surrender (FF) option in the game. In some matches, when a team falls far behind, it can feel like players are stuck in a long and frustrating game with little chance of coming back. For those of us who don’t always have a lot of time (work, daily life, etc.), being locked into a 40–60 minute match can be really discouraging.

A vote-based surrender system (for example, only available after a certain amount of time and requiring a majority or unanimous vote) could help reduce frustration while still preserving the competitive integrity of the game.

I understand that comeback potential is an important part of the design, and I’m not suggesting removing that — just offering an option when the whole team agrees the game is effectively over.

Thanks for reading, and I’m curious to hear what others think (respectfully).

3 complete stomps today under 25 mins. Amazing matchmaking! Is weekends for complete retards or what?

enemy team had a silver with 20k net when my team was at 9k. :)

Eternus 4 16min game. Every lane felt completely dominated. Zero chance to come back. Enemy team felt way more organized. Had lots of unfair games but this tops it all.

Overall not bad, but probably should fix the issue with griefers. There seem to be a lot. This Bebop is just one example, but I'd wager majority of games in oracle have griefers at this point. Due to them not being able to play with people. Oracle just feels like a honeypot of players with no real median to the skill level. The matches are very poorly balanced right now and I wish a rank reset would happen. 73297092
