Bad Matchmaking Thread

Subtle Aimbot, Possibly wall-hacking / able to track locations of all enemies everywhere through some application.

In both replays it showcases that this player aims around the target, and the bullets stick to the head or torso and the reticle does not match up with the bullets trajectory at all.
When compared to the other players within the matches, there is a clear delineation of shots taken, and the pathing matching as intended.

Additionally within In both matches, the player was blatant apparent in knowing where every single player was, even though there would have been indicator of them being exposed on the mini-map, or from their perspective. (In one instance in match 70878504, at 15:00, they aimed their reticle at the exact location of where the enemy player, calico, was hiding directly and kept the reticle the entire way when they were standing on top of the Buff Bridge, after securing it, then proceeded to kill the calico player.)

Felt like a complete rank difference here where the enemy team just steamrolled us. No lanes won, less than 25 minutes the match with our team only having 5 kills vs their 25 kills.

Just purely unfun and unpleasant. Not sure what else one can do in this game.

No matter if I play solo or with people it just feels unbearable this matchmaking.

Now this one was great for me. But not so great for the enemy team who got stomped. So it's a cointoss basically who gets the stompy team the past few days, it feels.

Another stomp right after that where we lost, and there was just nothing we could do to even it. Felt a bit like a draft difference with them having multiple super strong heroes and our team not having as many. Very unbelievably unpleasant. So unbelieveably frustrating.

Another one. Just. Unbelieveably garbage matchmaking right now. At least it's putting me in the Eternus lobbies again but I can't believe how absolutely atrocious it has been. No chance of comeback, there's just a steamroll and stomp from one side and there's only frustration to be had. Had a pretty solid winrate and now I'm just having a losing spree like every single day because it doesn't seem like the games are balanced at ALL, there's no chance of even doing a comeback which I've seen and gotten used to.

I am not saying this to be mean or rude but I earnestly think whomever is behind MM may need to moved to another team or position because this aint it. But I am done with the game till you guys figure this out. Otherwise this is well on its way to being another Artifact or Dota Underlords. If thats your goal then yes keep doing what your doing.
Be ruder, they fucking deserve it at this point for making the mm actually worse than it was in 2024

Yet another two matches back to back where it was simply a stomp for the enemy team. Was it because they had OP heroes? It felt like in of the matches them having multiple overpowered heroes was a winning factor, yeah. But genuinely having someone go 0-11 every single damn match for the past week has been AWFUL. AND again MM putting me in ASCENDANT lobbies??? I'm actually beyond frustrated at this point. It's once again mirroring the awful matchmaking experience that was happening some months back where first there's a handful of good games, now there's only absolutely unbelieveable soul-crushing games.

Abrams goes 2-11-2 (13 games total logged on their profile)
Wraith goes 1-15-0 (15 games total logged on their profile)

1 kill 0 assists. I keep getting either low game count players, or straight up fresh installs on my team specifically, and the enemy team consistently has players that are very clearly above the skill level of everyone else.

I'm alchemist V. Why????? Why don't new players begin in innitiate lobbies? Why is the ranking so steep to the point really good players are placed in low ranks and take forever to climb to their appropriate rank in terms of skill?

People say the matchmaking is broken, and even though that's true, the initial ranking system is also heavily to blame. In no world should these players be in lobbies with people averaging over 100 games. This is extremely frustrating. I've had matches where, on my team, it was multiple players' FIRST GAME OF DEADLOCK EVER.

I know game development and especially creating algorithms with possibly hundreds of variables to evaluate and score is hard, but come on, this is just ridiculous and frankly nonsensical to the point where i question if the matchmaking and ranker algos were properly tested to begin with.

I'm relatively new to the game and i think it's very fun but things like this completely ruin the experience because i'm banking on factors outside my control (the game) to not have an absolutely miserable match which i would get increasingly punished for abandoning and continuing on with my day.

No more fun left in the update even after balances. 3rd time now we are in this MMR recession and a 3rd time we are seeing no change or planned changes, only speculation. Do you think its within scope to remove this thread to improve stakeholder asset view?

My experience for 100's of matches has been, 3-5 "teammates" that go 0/15/0 or worse, by 12m. More deaths than I'll have in dozens of games COMBINED, even though the score are 5 to 65, I'll still end 5/0 as a support, or 20/0 as a carry. But the game is designed where you auto lose if it's not 6v6.

Never once had an enemy do that.

There are only two options, of 100s and 100's of games to play out this exact same way.

Either accounts gets flagged for griefing, like dota. They flag accounts that they feed 100% of their matches into known anti gaming griefing hacking sub human cancer. This makes it so 5% of the playerbase gets unplayable experiences because of 15-25% ruining. And the rest get a nice clean environment to play it where they gaslight and lie about everyone else experience.

Or it's because of party matchmaking. They just constantly feeding solo accounts into stacks. So you literally CANNOT get intentional feeders on the enemy team if you solo, because the other team is a party, so you have to get all the solo players.

The game needs both skill based match making and skill based ranking.

Dota has had this problem for so long. But in dota, you can win 1v9. You can't win deadlock 1v11. It's just not designed for it.

This was the state of map at 14 minutes. All walkers down besides mine. Base guardians at blue down. 56k souls gap at the end of the game which ended 6 minutes later.

The discrepancy here is insane. So much so that this might have been the quickest game I have ever played. My teammate said that "We asked for help we're new." It is not my responsibility to also do other lanes and I shouldn't be queued with people so new that they have no idea what's going on. I'm also new.

I checked on the game leaderboard and the enemy team had:
three eternus 5
one ascendant 6
one ascendant 3 (smurf with 81% win rate)
the last one isnt on leaderboards but on trackers it shows its a smurf account with 85% win rate

my team had:
one ascendant 5
one ascendant 3
the others dont show on leaderboard and on trackers it says:
oracle 3
oracle 6
phantom 4
archon 1

70k souls diff in 25 minute game. This is the usual experience in South America lobbies.
