Bad Matchmaking Thread

Two brand new players and overall team rank is seeker. stuck in high acl low ritualist games where my teammates are brand new and cant do anything but die to people closer in my rank. Enable extra competive seems to mean nothing if im getting brand new players on my team. Impossible to rank up at the current moment so the lobbys are just me killing brand new players while my teammates face people my skill level and flounder because of it

55512545 -- I can't prove anything here but the scores make me think a lot of people don't know how to position... Which like... They should in Emissary 1+ -- I also had to explain economy to the team since they seemed to keen on engaging constantly while behind.

55526022 -- Geist has only a handful of games in this one. Same rank. Lash as well.

After the latest update, my twink account (https://steamcommunity.com/id/VALEDOL34235/) was deranked from Ascendant VI to Seeker II, even though I have not played enough matches with such bad results to justify such a massive loss of rank.

Right now, when I launch the game, I basically have to carry the entire map.

In almost every match, players in chat accuse me of cheating, boosting, or smurfing and blame me for ruining their gameplay experience. As a result, I am forced to apologize, explain myself, and even encourage them to report me, while in reality I just want my previous rank back on this account.

I believe it is unfair to remove so much rank froma player who consistently has a positive K/D even in Ascendant-level lobbies, and because of a technical issue or bug is now placed against players far below their actual skill level. I kindly ask you to review my account and restore a rank that matches my MMR and past performance.

Do not post matchids for games that were within the past 24 hours from this post. Games older than that are fine and games going forward are fine.

55591320 - lopsided teams - hidden king team is extremely casual and most of them should be deranked to lower lobbies.

You want them to rank boost your smurf account with multiple VAC bans? I think they should just perma ban you tbh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

match says it was ritualists vs alchemists, but the way it played out we basically bullied them, normal match length, but AM side didn't manage to get a single walker on the HK side. Also comparing deaths, HK side had 12 deaths, AM had 34 deaths.

Score was 1/21 by ten minutes, enemy team spent the entire game steamrolling us and AFK farming, up 60k the entire game. Final score 15/61
 
55690444 - I am Oracle 6 queueing with an Archon 6, and we ended up in a Ritualist 4 lobby as per the in game display on scoreboard? Looking at Statlocker it also says that everyone besides us was solo queued so I don't know how this lobby happened.

im pretty scrub tier; i think i've never been higher than seeker
i was playing venator for the first time, the night he came out. so obv im not very skilled with him
one of my team mates (the calico if that helps) was completely new to the game. they had to ask about how to use the zipline, how to secure souls, run urn, etc.

despite all of these factors, the enemy team seemed to be pretty stacked
at least half of them all had perfect min-maxxed builds that were melting or even one-shotting us
they definitely knew how to play their characters. one of them was playing my main, and dare i say, they might have had more steeze than me with her

felt like a pretty unfair sweep. idt that's what an initiate ii lobby should be like lol
 
1: 55599711 - Team average rank was a whole 2 colours down.... (seeker 3 vs arcanist 3)
2: 55609674 - im arcanist 4 playing often confidently playing emissary and ritualist games while, i was put in a iniatite game for some reason
3: 55695351 - again just playing well lower than my rank and normal games the past day or 2

The Graves is smurfing, but the game correctly has her at around Ascendant 2 and shes put in a fucking Emissary 4 lobby. To be clear she's solo queued too
