Why is there no surrender button in the game?
This game, unfortunately, is a snowbally mess (even by MOBA standards), since items are so powerful that even relatively small differences in souls lead to power spikes so big that the game becomes one-sided, with little to no catch-up mechanics to try to reign this in. Hero design and counter item design don't help either; when expensive items are necessary to deal with certain heroes, this leads to the already losing team being in an even worse situation: they are forced into certain items that only let them survive, while at the same time being behind on souls, thus by the time they build the item the enemy is so far ahead that there is nothing anyone can do.
So I ask again, why is there no surrender option?
If this is the balancing philosophy, that's fine, but please add a surrender option; it's the second time someone I've tried to introduce to the game has quit because they are forced to remain and play awful matches that are complete stomps with zero chances of turning them around. Pair that with the fact that they can't even play the heroes they want half the time because of this weird pick system, where you aren't allowed to repeat heroes with the enemy team, and it just ends up in an incredibly frustrating experience for new players.
