Bad Matchmaking Thread

(41798851) This game the opposing team was a 6 stack (the winning team) - despite my best efforts. Rank averages don't even match up.


(41704970) Another bad game. Opposing team had a 4 stack and a duo. My team had a duo and the rest solos. Once again, performed the best in game, but not enough.

At a certain point these games are just painful, like how does this happen? I get placed into games within less than a minute during peak hours and this is the quality of the matches. If anything I would wait a minute or two longer to at least have a chance at a somewhat fair game. Solo q players like myself should not have to play against full on 6 stacks.

Mind checking their Steam profiles? It honestly feels like some of these teammates are actual newbies with barely 20 hours in the game. That would explain why matches feel so unbalanced
upd:I checked their Steam profiles — one has 49 matches and the other 86. So yeah, not complete newbies, but still feels rough in matchmaking.

Apparently I had two complete beginners against a Archon 1, and Emissary 6 and a Ritualist 2.

Their total team rank was 145 while ours was 92. Don't think I need to wonder why we lost.

Alchemist vs Archon - most likely smurfs or cheats. One team was consistently forcefully disconnected and rejoined all the match, while opponents were not affected whatsoever.

Most of them have <25 matches played.

They had a Phantom 3 and a Archon 3, while our highest was Ritualist 5. Somehow we won. How the match average for this is Arcanist 4 is beyond me.

This is the worst game i have ever had. Grouped with a stack of 5 all using voice mods calling ppl a nigger faggots. Congrats steam. I dont even speak into voice chat let alone text. Honestly no one wants to listen to this crap. Thank god for the mute button. But good for you guys doing nothing about this toxic community. Game is gonna self destruct before it even starts.

the pass three dose i hate to just wait for the winning team, who had not feeders teammate, and on my side had three to two player that are Absolutely brain dead feeders. pls devs reset all rank so we down have this problem of seeker 1 feeder in high matches

Since monday with my rank being high ritualist in EU I only get placed in lobbies with Oracle+ players present. This renders the game unplayable for me as it would be more beneficial for me to be afk. The only other option is an initiate/alchemist lobby where I am the highest rank, equally unfun. I wish I had the option to wait longer but get people my rank, just like extra competitive.

i'm not super sure where else to share this nor if this is particularly useful but, Deadlock is draining, i'm considered Initiate 1 and getting into games consisting of a bunch of fellow low levels, and just randomly a Ritualist, or Arcanisit. and twice having Oracle players in the same lobby. I know oce is a small region but having someone in the top 500 of the server region placed agianst people that hardly deny in lane is horrible. Even playing with friends in a three stack should excuse this matchmaking.

I'm not copletely sure the formating ya'll want this in but it is the worst thing to having the fun from a game derivied from which team gets the good player and which team has people with less then 10 matches.

Wraith went 0-8-0 and blamed me for "not knowing what to do in the game"
Whatever brand of delusion he's buying I want some too. Me and Mina destroyed Calico and Drifter in lane, and somehow they are still fed when the game is over. There is no way Valve can get good statistics out of this or any form of decent player relations. Guessing the other team was a 6-stack vs randoms?
