Bad Matchmaking Thread

We never got a shot at any of the enemy walkers. I swear my team had no idea what it meant to kill creeps and treated it as a TDM.
 
if only there was phrase like the n word or used the hard r that could prevent people from openly using a slur (theres another instance of this same thing if you search for it)

I feel bad for the team we went up against—they were way outmatched compared to mine. I even gave them some tips because I felt bad for them.
 
perfect example of how deadlock works. go on a win streak and by the 4th game you get fucking burger ass teammates who have 0 idea how to play the game. fuck this game. ggs deadlock you dead ass just lost another player. enjoy your dying game

ive resorted to trying to blocking folks on steam because theres no reason i should be playing with them (toxic or skillwise etc) but am consistently matched with them again LOL
pretty clear it makes no difference then so fuck it
 
thing is
stressing myself to try to productively help new folks pays off when folks are responsive and when you teach someone something its satisfying
but its not conducive to providing any sort of valuable feedback because it obviously doesnt boost my understanding of the game or experience of it as it potentially should be played

33122598. I'm 4 ranks higher than the matches I'm being put in. Maybe the number of gamers is just really low right now, I don't know. Not fun though.

Our calico was AFK the whole game, and the level of skill was not equal between my team and the enemy team. I'm not high MMR, I'm just Emissary, but I'm getting players who seem to be playing for the first time.
 
dog water matchmaking. devs dont care. ive said it time and time again. if we all just drop deadlock then theyll be forced to make changes that would make the game better. but what do i know. i just get shoved in lobbies like this were a holliday does 204 damage a bullet. smh game is dying and devs dont care. literally everybody and their mom thinks this game is going to die and im here to see it for real for real.

2 or 3 smurfs in the same game and we get circles run around us on the map. Half our team doesn't communicate and we get picked off over and over.

Personally I wouldn't even mind being thrown into lobbies with better players like this if they were at least actually putting a LOT OF POINTS on the line for us lower rank players to grab. You can win or lose to a player smurfing on an Emissary account who in reality is Oracle+ and it feels like the system doesn't reward or go easy on you for it.

People seem to feel incentivized to smurf with the current system, even players that are not necessarily looking for a stomp. Many pros and E6 streamers will openly tell you they smurf just for better queue times but the MMR distortion really ruins things for those of us trying to climb the honest way.
