Bad Matchmaking Thread

god awful matchmaking--maybe because it is the weekend. went from having good teammates to having horrible low skill teammates. my lane partner is basically a bot and then I try to roam and the guys lane i'm ganking just doesn't even respond. what is this horrible matchmaking

I was plat 1750 and climbing relatively nice for a dad who works and takes care of his kids with little time to play. After the most recent update The matchmaking has become absolutely terrible and the mmr isnt making any sense. I know these are third party sites but if they even resemble anything of what our mmr should be this is not right.

Havent been able to win a single match where the enemy team is even to mine and i receive gains but when I do its still a loss even if they have better players i have buddies going 15-1 winning the match and losing -50 getting hard stuck in silver and gold.

I cant tell if maybe a little wave of smurfs are throwing things off, or the slight drop in concurrent players maybe but Im just really starting to get the whole Activision matchmaking vibe (overwatch comp, cod ranked) where they dont actually care about you showing improvement and climbing, their primary concern is player retention where you get the illusion of climbing but are then smashed multiple games in a row in order to keep your competitive brain playing and grinding for your rank.

fix the ai bot matchmaking this match was clearly unbalanced skill wise. unless of course yous are going for an engagement based MM algorithm. in which case this game makes sense obviously infernus was due for a loss

23700317 this was definitely a mistake in matchmaking, I was playing with a new player and it queued us with another new player, everyone on the opposing team had very good builds and knew what they were meant to be doing.​

Yea if you want to keep your sanity, stay away from Pubs until they fix this, its actually WILD how im getting silvers in their first game. PLEASE PUSH OUT A FIX!

How can anyone think this is ok?

This keeps happening over and over and over. It's seriously infuriating. We keep sending *repeat* examples. One team is absolutely destined to lose after just 10 minutes and there's nothing we can do about it. Something needs to be done fast. There is a major problem and there is a pattern to the bad matchmaking.
