It has been reported a few times but no one has explained it correctly. When you purchase an ability upgrade with 1 AP, the first upgrade, and then refund that point by clicking on it, the point IS refunded, but visually it is not. The checkmark still appears as if you have already purchased the upgrade. It also ONLY does this on the 1-point upgrade, not the 2 or 5 point ones. This minor but confusing visual bug has been in the game for several of the last adjustment patches. Really would warm my heart if someone could fix this and unofficially call it the Synth patch. I have been noticing it like a madman for weeks.
