I wanted to pitch some items that capitalize on the air control stat being in the game, since only a few situations/characters actually get to use it, and I think it could be a really cool attribute for movement in the game.

I definitely think there is a lot of scope for the devs to explore with movement items other than +1 stamina. Playing with air control and dash jumping is a lot of fun. Good stuff
