Youre able to leave after dying

Just had a match with a Warden where he died in the first 2:50 and was able to insta leave abandon and the game was safe to leave for everyone. Honestly dont know how I feel about this being possible for everyone, could be abused in niche cases but this could be a nice thing to have.

this just feels like the same thing with other hero shooters like marvel rivals and overwatch where in competitive you can leave before a certain time to not play the game. usually used if you have a known thrower or bad player on your team or just someone you don't want to play with you intentionally "dodge" the game and take a loss for yourself but you don't have to play the game.

This is by design. If someone abandons in the first 5minutes of the game, the match will not be counted and everyone else will be able to leave freely. The person who abandons still gets a penalty aka temporary ban.

Anyone is "allowed" to abandon the match, but no one just gets off scot free; you get a Temp-Ban that limits you from playing further matches, and if you keep doing it the ban just gets longer.
As for the people in-match-- do you want to play a 5v6? or do you like playing proper matches?

No I've used dodges in the past for other games, I just wanted to make sure this was intentional and not a one off. I prefer even matches

This is common way to abuse mmr. Someone has eternus account and other one buys low mmr account for 1 euro (oracle, phantom etc). They queue together and if game goes bad they leave before minute 5. Repeat until you are eternus 6 and then sell acount.
