having to be run down by certain characters feels pretty bad. having a 1600 green with health and stamina recovery that would give push back in an AOE could save some lanes from certain death. Even an upgrade into an alternate Stamina Mastery would be something too.

Damn okay glad I checked beforre making a post. I was thinking an item like this is now needed given how much CC there is and a good amount of Mystics struggle early against aggro kits.

I think it should be a t3 item or t2 item that can upgrade into a t4 item. I envision the push back to actually be in a cylinder/sphere around the user and granting a temporary speed boost because this is an "oh fuck i gotta dip item"

I can see this being used to mess with waves too so it should be considered if the push effect is less powerful on NPCs.
 
thats what i had in mind, circular "get off me" similar vfx imagined as cold front. coming back to this idea i think a cone in the direction you're facing could work well too and allow "more interaction".
 
I had a similar idea, but instead of some AOE effect it is a projectile, acting like a damage less rocket (like from Quake or TF2).
Enemies knocked into the air by it have their stamina and movement abilities disabled until they hit the ground. You can also use it on yourself. So shooting it at their feet to knock them back, or at your feet to rocket jump away. Also you could use it to do crazy movement tech, like shooting it at the ground before you land at high speed to keep your momentum, go higher up a wall by shooting it at a wall while going up.
Passives would be +1 stamina and +air strafing (half joking with this one).
Main issue would be being WAY too skill based.
