Vyper T3 Slither Ability interaction with Radiant Regeneration

Raident Regeneration's Passive indicates that it should proc when an ability is used. Slither at T3 now has an ability that can be triggered, given that it goes on cooldown when used.

Therefore, the Radiant Regeneration passive should activate whenever Vyper triggers her T3 Slither Barrier. Since it is not, then I assume it is either a bug, or it was not coded to account for this interaction as the T3 Slide Barrier ability is new.

I wouldn't consider T3 Slither a passive though. You need to slide in order to activate it, which is just pressing a button like all other cast abilities are.
A passive/active is just if you can or can't press the ability. I think it would be more appropriate to use the General gameplay feedback subforum if you want to give feedback on this

I'm sure it can be nuanced, but what exactly would you consider a passive?

The only difference I see is that the ability just doesn't show the crouch button on the ability icon.

Anything that isn't 1234zxcv by default. In other words, stat increase and something that enhances (or triggered by) universal (melee, parry, jump, crouch, dash, slide, shooting, damaged, kill, death, etc) actions.

Like, Curse doesn't disable Counterspell.

Ok but like it is, it just doesn't have the JPEG button symbol underneath the ability. You still have to press slide to active the Slither ability, just like nearly every other ability these heroes have.

You have to press left click to activate the afterburn, love bites, etc. Does that make those 'active'? What's the difference? My argument is any universal actions(shoot, crouch/slide, parry, dash-jump, etc) are equal and thus passives. You are saying something makes slide different, then say what makes it different.

For me, Mirage's Djinn's Mark is a much better argument than this. Like, why can that ability trigger QSR but not Radiant Regen? If I were dev, I would just remove active of Djinn's Mark and make it unable to trigger QSR. Or make it have much higher active cooldown and make it able to trigger Radiant Regen. Or anything that removes this ambiguity.
