Vital Clip: Active Reload Upgrade (T4 Vitality)

Since Quicksilver-Reload has a T4 upgrade through Mercurial Magnum, it would be nice for Active Reload to also get an upgrade that scales well in the late game. Since Spellslinger already exists, I thought it could work if Vital Clip leaned more into self-sustain.

Since the item focuses on weapons as well as sustain, the base stats include Weapon Damage as an upgrade to RS and Max Ammo to take advantage of Vital Clip's activated magazine.

To help differenciate the item from Vampiric Burst, which has much stronger healing in a shorter window, Vital Clip's health regen lasts longer and relys more on the user's max health size and tankiness as opposed to bullet DPS.

The bullets that apply Health stacks have no timer/duration, only resetting when the user reloads. The buff duration specifically applies to the conditional Fire Rate and Move Speed. Each HP stack has a 2 second duration, draining 1 stack each time the duration passes (so 10 stacks would gradually drain to 0 stacks over 20 seconds).

The duration of Vital Clip's activation window is 0.5 seconds: 0.2s longer then Active Reload.

It's been a while since I've pitched any item concepts, so hopefully this one is alright.

Seems solid, and it's easy to build give that it has 2 components. Increasing "Max health Regen" isn't great wording though. It implies you have a maximum of health you can regenerate. It would be better phrased "Granting health Regen based on your maximum health".

I'll also say that more bonus %weapon damage doesn't really jive with the natural effect of the item, even though Restorative shot does give that bonus Weapon damage. Personally, I would have it increase to only maybe 10%, leave the bonus Ammo you have as is, and have it grant bonus maximum health (which makes sense given the effect of the item).

I would also reduce the CD to something like 9s since it is a T4 item and Mercurial Magazine reduces the CD/Charge time of Quicksilver Reload. Yes, I recognize that this would make it pretty much constant, but it would also be in line with other T4 items where you can reasonably expect 90-100% uptime on effects that aren't otherwise major actives.

I agree with all of this, thanks for the feedback.

"Max Health Regen" is the official wording used when referring to regeneration based on your health total.
I don't really think Active Reload needs an upgrade though, as it already fulfills its own niche and adding stats doesn't change much

While that is super spiffy that "Max Health Regen" is the official way to say that you are regenerating a % of your max health, the way the item is phrased is still confusing.

Increasing Max health regen is one thing, GRANTING max health regen makes more sense. It could say "Grants increasing max health regen" and THEN it would be 100% clear exactly what it does.

I may be a stickler for how things are worded, but clarity on how things are supposed to work makes things go through more smoothly, particularly when you're trying to suggest an idea for something.
