Viscous Splatter T3 damage (intended?)

Noticed that Viscous T3 splatter effect lets him to consistently get the damage from two splatter hits if he fires at the targets feet. Seems pretty strong not sure if that's intended.

(Firing T3 splatter at the targets feet instantly does two hits of splatter).

It's probably because you're getting hit once by the initial projectile, then the second time by the first bounce. Worth noting that additional hits do reduced damage.

And sadly without T3 splatter he'd be unplayable past 20 minutes in the current build.

Did it function this way before the current patch? Looked into it because it felt like splatter was doing much more damage even with no spirit items than last patch even though the notes indicated it should do less. Maybe it's always worked like this and just more people are rushing T3 splatter than before, but it makes the effective spirit coefficient on this ability 3.23 (1.9 * 1.7 for the second instant hit) which seemed out of line.

Yeah, right now with Viscous's ult getting consigned to the "Situational but unreliable" category due to the nerf, and the gradual slide towards nerfing the melee items pushing Puddle Punch into being more of a utility thing, most Viscous players are rushing T3 Splatter before other stuff even gets T2'd. There's just not a lot else to do with the character right now, so it can feel like that ability is very predominant.

Which, you know, it is, but mostly in the "They took away the rest of my toolkit, so I got really good at using the pliers they left me" kind of way.
